I saw Pet Shop Boys live a few months ago at the EMAs and thought they were boring oops

I only knew like 3 songs of theirs beforehand. This album wasn't bad though! Much better and livelier than I was expecting. Quite catchy but not my sort of thing

The first half of this album could have been 5 star, loved it. 2nd half was good but seemed to slow down too much for my liking

My only experience of Captain Beefheart is from Trout Mask Replica which I gave a 1. So I wasn't thrilled to see yet another of their albums pop up

I was so shocked though because I weirdly quite liked this one! Totally different sounds but still kinda odd. I liked it

A very nice album!

Bridge Over Troubled Water is such a beautiful song. I also love Cecilia! I thought the cover by The Vamps was the original version up until a few years ago. Much to my surprise!

This is one of the albums that define my teenage years, and I still listen to it. I remember watching the American Idiot music video on MTV and thinking Billie Joe was so cool. What a time to be alive

This album was huge. For years I couldn't walk into a HMV without seeing this album plastered all over. Green Day still use American Idiot to make political statements. Wake Me Up When September ends is still a meme. They still play the majority of this album live. You wouldn't think it was over 20 years old

This is THE Green Day album. Banger after banger! Hearing those guitar riffs just hit the right part of my brain🤘🏻 Sick album cover. They're also one of the best bands I have ever seen live. Hella Mega tour was insane. They nailed it with this one. Points all round honestly

Couldn't understand a word this guy was singing. But I liked this one, purely for the vibes

The Billie Jean cover really threw me off, seemed totally out of place to sing in English for this one song. But he did a great job and put his own twist on it!

I really loved the intro! I was kind of disappointed it wasn't a classical/orchestra album because I was really into that intro

I thought this album was super catchy. I really enjoyed it! I recognised a few songs on there that I've not heard in so long - The Look Of Love (both parts) loved it

It was exactly what I expected it to sound like! That distinct British summer vibe. I recognised a few songs by the end

I'd never heard of PJ Harvey - her voice is not what I was expecting at all based off the album cover. Pleasantly surprised

I was surprised that 1 - she made this list, and 2 - that it was this album. I don't like Lana but even I've heard of NFR and Born To Die. I'd never heard of this one

Unfortunately Lana is not for me, unless she stops mumbling and perks up a bit. This was so boring and monotonous. I only enjoyed 1 song, and 'enjoyed' is pushing it

She should write songs about her life in the swamp, married to the alligator man. At least then it would be more interesting than whatever this was

It's always a good day when I see the Beatles pop up!

Eleanor Rigby is a 5 star song in itself. One of my favourite Beatles songs!

Yellow Submarine is such a nostalgic song for me personally, although it seems so out of place on this album

Shoutouts to Taxman and Got To Get You Into My Life too for being tunes

I love me some ABBA. We had the Gold: Greatest Hits album at home. But this wasn't good

It was like a reject album. With like 2 good songs thrown in

Giving it an extra star purely because the only good songs were so good
