I wish there was a two and a half. It's odd and short and definitely fun in spots. I just don't care so very much for the folk medieval revival flavor that seeped into everything on that era?

It's simple and odd and early electronic stuff but it's great background music for getting stuff done around the house on a Sunday as I found out. I enjoyed it as a whole pretty well. I've listen to it prior and I think the latter half of the album is stronger.

Actually, aside from the hits, this album is pretty great. How does that work?

RamonesRamones

Rated 4/10

Although I am happy that the Ramones helped pave the way for a certain kind of punk rock music, I never really cared for them. There's a few songs of theirs that I find quite energizing. Sheena is a punk rocker and I want to be sedated come to mind. This album doesn't really do it for me. It's okay. It's just not great.

Scott 4Scott Walker

Rated 8/10

I think this is the 3rd Scott Walker album and I've actually enjoyed them all moderately well. They're interesting in that they aren't really crooner albums or just silly or poignant or strictly singer-songwriter or ballad albums. They all feel like some American got drunk in Italy and made a career for himself. There's a soap opera vibe to the whole thing. It's very dramatic in a tongue in cheek way. I liked it.

Sort of an average Joni Mitchell album with a standout oddity in the track twisted. It was an easy listen in the morning while I had an hour to clean around the house and work on a project. I don't think I'd ever choose to listen to her but I'm never upset when she is playing.
