I suspect I would have hated this in english, but in Belgian it feels fresh and innovative and very cool

the scratching, the flow, the swagger, impeccable.

Oh, so this is what no editing sounds like. What a waste of time. The single most interesting piece was the 30 seconds of toilet flushing. This was not music, this was uninspired performance art noise. This album's inclusion in this list was cruel.

Maybe it sounds dated with time and exposure, but there is little of this album that feels inspired or original. Paparazzi is still a great song though.

With the exception of Malone, anything with Post in the the name is awesome. I didn't know Post Punk was a top five genre. Now I do. Thanks Protomartyr.

Punk is best when the singer is sing shouting in a dialect you can barely understand. More please

My second favorite the National Album! Mistaken for Strangers made the fall in love with this band

Starts slow but gets there eventually. Not my favorite Vampire Weekend album but much better than I remember from 2013

Beautiful varied and evocative

Such a diverse and awesome sound! From punk rock to prog to mariachi, kept me engaged without understanding a single word

Nice sound, a little homogenous

Punk sensibilities. None of these songs rise to the level of The Cattle and the Creeping Things but would definitely listen again

Inspiring rock. Awesome punk.

So much fun

Like just the operatic parts of queen, or a slightly more mainstream Of Montreal, a great time all around

I don't know if this is better if you understand the lyrics.

Starts off so strong with Aura and then fails to maintain interest.

Is the point the spite? I get it's an ironic callback, I don't get the enjoyment

I didn't love the talk song, but it was definitely unique and interesting

The story telling through both instrument and lyrics are perfect. May not be my favorite vocal style, but immaculate construction
