I'm very impressed that the book curation team like pop metal! This album rocks so hard, barely a dull moment.

Maybe I'm a philistine, but many Queen albums are served best by listening to the songs on the best of and skipping the rest. This one falls into that category. Really high highs with Good Old Fashion Lover Boy and Somebody to Love, and the rest is fine. Tie Your Mother down is also on their best of, but is not my favorite.

I've never cared for TOOLs vocalist and sometimes thought their albums were a little slow. This one filled that space with... dread? Empowerment? I'm not sure, but there was no wasted space.

Alternative country you say? Tell me more. We were going so strong until we devolved into honky christian sing-a-long. Oh never mind, those were the ill considered should-have-been-excluded bonus tracks. You know what? I'm petty enough to deduct a point.

I'm not sure I understand the appeal. It was neither beautiful nor frenetic nor fun. It was at least somewhat interesting.

Maybe I'm just not a fan of falsetto, I also don't appreciate Bon Iver as much as others.

Falling set me up for a nice ride and the rest of the album was okay.

Medicore electronics pop staring a violen. Feels very catered to acrobatic live performance, no thanks outside that context
