What a phenomenal set of voices and wonderful vibe. Last century beach music as sung by the Strokes. Delightful

There was a lot to like here, but nothing was different enough or perfect enough to hook me.

I wish I understood the appeal of Depeche Mode. Most of the time I'm just bored.

The vocals felt amateurish, but otherwise it was fine.

Somehow it feels correct that Canada created by Bare Naked Ladies and Crash Test Dummies. How have I never heard them before? The voice is so perfect, the storytelling so straightforward and relatable. It's not doing anything I've never heard before, but it's doing it so evocatively. Gives me Blues Travelers in the best way.

Struck a Nerve is definitely the highlight with the vocal harmony. Hits just as hard as Infection.

That was a way more fun Australian rock

Tenors scratch singing is a mistake. The rest of the album is great, I just don't love the vocals.

Why was Cathy's Clown a hit? This whole album was okay.

They're almost there. The vocals are in the uncanny valley between clean and interesting

I enjoyed this was more than the last Porcupine Tree album, far more approachable.
You had me at Chris Thile. Throw in a master jazz pianist? Yes please.

Fa Fa was so much fun, and though I cringed that I loved the rest of the album, I did.

Fun sounds in wild moods

I long for more dynamic range and impact. Your own Personal Jesus hits so much harder than anything on this album.

Bluesy 60's rock. Very well executed. Not my thing.

I acknowledge I am the dolt R.E.M. was satirizing, but I liked Shiny Happy People more than the rest of the album.

Brilliant. Such momentous energy and wondrous sound

What a delight. A little low key, but I enjoyed every second.

I'm not a huge fan of many of these songs out of context, but somehow during the album I was loving every second
