This fills a space between metal and post rock. I don't know who wanted that space filled, I certainly did not. It didn't go hard enough to be background of a fight and didn't really reach for other emotion.

That was fun, but not particularly memorable

Four hours of spanish language rock concerts with an at best passable voice was way more fun than I thought it would be. Gave myself permission to nope out after an hour but I let it rock for the duration during my 5 hour flight

Some pretty noises, but nothing groundbreaking

The goal was unsettling whimsey and they achieved it, but why was that the goal? This album was 'sound and fury signifying nothing'

Fun metal album.

This is one of those albums that I feel like I'd need to listen to multiple times and really hone in to get if it's truly awesome. As is I enjoyed it but it didn't blow me away musically.

This was delightful, less misogynistic and more musical than other of Doom's work.

Best guitar album of the decade. Thought it was just good country, then Escanaba made me sit up and listen. Easily my favorite country album ever and the only country album that makes my top 100.
Rated 8/10
Slightly less interesting REM. Still a good time.

Blinding lights is the only bright spot on this derivative snoozefest
