I'm probably bias because I grew up with the Thrills. I like them, it's wistful and reminds me of the beach boys. Doesn't deserve a place on the list though. 3/5.

So what started ok takes a turn at the rap track "A Gospel". What the hell was that?! I checked for any drug induced excuses but he didn't touch them in the 80s. He soberly decided this. Outside of that blunder this album is all over the place stylistically and not in a good way. Struggling to see what he was trying to achieve. Some decent tracks here but too many bad tracks to make up for the good. 2/5.

Production stinks of the 80s. Never heard this before. It was fine. Production sounds very similar to many other records of this time. Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins records with that 80s sound come to mind. Just nowhere near as good. 2.5/5. Raising to 3.

Don't you want me is a banger. Album is devoid of any others. Probably deserves a place for historical relevance. 2/5.
