I've never listened to an LCD Soundsystem album start to finish, but I think I recognize some of these tracks by name.
This just isn't my jam. I find it boring and repetitive.

This just isn't my jam. I find it boring and repetitive.

This is my first time listening to this album start-to-finish.
I'm well-aware of a bunch of these tracks. It's a collection of classics and a real snapshot of time. I'd rate it good, but not great, though it is worth a listen.

I don't believe I've ever heard of this group.
I'm not entirely certain, but maybe I've heard the title track before. It rings a very faint bell. The rest of it isn't bad overall, but the vocals tend to sound pretty amateurish. I don't hate it, but I do wish it were better.

This is my first time listening to this album.
Man, this is smooth. I'll be adding this album to my list of albums to listen to again.

This is my first time listening to this Slipknot album start-to-finish.
I am a fan of metal, but I do not like Slipknot. This album is not doing anything to change my opinion of the band.
I've never listened to a Belle and Sebastian album start-to-finish before.
This just isn't grabbing me. I feel bored, and frequently it sounds like the singer is bored with the music too.

This is my first time listening to this particular Queen album start-to-finish.
This is pretty good, but my usual criticism of Queen is that the hits are great, but the other tracks are not. So you basically already know all the songs worth listening to, and there's no hidden gems.
Rated 4/10
I'm completely unaware of this artist.
This was interesting to listen to, though I'm not sure it's great. And then I saw a few reviews on this site for this album, which referenced the fact that this guy has been accused of pedophilia. So that makes this all a bit of a bummer.

This is my first time listening to a 10cc album.
I don't know... this is just weird, and not terribly enjoyable. It's not bad, but not very good either.
Rated 6/10
I'm quite familiar with My Bloody Valentine, but I've never heard this album of theirs.
I'm most familiar with their "Loveless" album which I quite enjoy. This is interesting to listen to from the standpoint of "oh, this is what they sounded like before they got to the Loveless-style wall-of-sound thing they had going." I don't enjoy this anywhere near as much as Loveless though. It's not terrible, but much more "meh."

YES
This isn't my favorite Foo Fighters album, but still 5 stars. For me, "There Is Nothing Left to Lose" is their best.
Rated 8/10
This is my first time listening to this album.
It's just wall-to-wall solid blues, which is exactly what you'd expect from B.B. King.
Rated 6/10
I don't like Radiohead. I don't believe I've ever listened to this album start-to-finish.
This album has more of the songs by Radiohead that I can tolerate at some level. That's mostly because lots of other albums by them seem to just not rock. This album has some actual jammers on it. But... Thom Yorke still sucks as a singer. The songs I can tolerate would be so much better if someone else were singing.
Rated 8/10
I'm pretty sure I've heard all the tracks on this album, but possibly not in order, start-to-finish.
I like this more than I'd expect I would. It's not my typical thing, but good nonetheless.
Also, because this phrase isn't showing up on the page which lists the reviews: "A potato flew around my room"

I've never sat down and listened to a Specials album start to finish.
This is an excellent example of classic 2 tone. I quite enjoyed this. I might add this to my list of albums to revisit.
Rated 2/10
I've never heard of this artist.
Almost immediately, I felt pretty confident that this was not going to be an enjoyable listen. This style of electronic music just doesn't appeal to me. I find it boring.
And this specific album was like listening to over an hour of static. There's just nothing interesting in here for me.

I don't believe I've ever heard of this artist before.
This is pretty neat. The instrumentals are particularly interesting. He's not the greatest singer, but it's not that it doesn't work for the songs either.
I think I'll add this to my list of albums to revisit.

I'm not a fan of Billy Joel. I don't believe I've ever listened to this album start-to-finish, but just looking at the song titles, I think I know them all.
As a musician, Billy Joel is quite talented, but his songs tend toward schmaltz, and I don't enjoy it. Also, some people really like his voice, but I don't. I feel like there's frequently an undercurrent of anger in his voice, and I don't know where I'm even picking that up. But it also tends to throw the feeling of his songs out of whack. Again, the rest of the band are fine players, but the "schmaltz" factor is a detriment to really enjoying them too.

I don't believe I've ever heard of this artist before.
This seems like the kind of band I'd like to sit in on a jam with. I quite enjoyed this, and I think I'll add this to my collection.
Rated 8/10
I'm not sure I've listened to this entire album, but certainly many of the tracks are familiar.
Here's my thing with Led Zeppelin: A lot of my formative years were spent listening to classic rock radio in the late 80s through the 90s. And Led Zeppelin was such a consistent staple of those radio stations, that I just got tired of them. So I've been mostly on a pretty strict "No-Zep" diet for quite a while.
In addition, as a guitarist, I love Jimmy Page as a riff-writer, but I hate his playing. He's very sloppy. There aren't any really glaring examples of his sloppiness on this album, so it's got that going for it.
So, this is fun to re-visit this album. But I don't think this one is their best.
