About like any other Randy Newman. I probably liked this one slightly better than the originals on the list, but we don't need this much Newman. 2.5/5

Decent...definitely had a lot of elements of that era. Perhaps a bit too long and overstays its welcome slightly. 2.5/5

Was this really bad R&B, or super mumbly sing-song rapping? Regardless of the genre, it sucked. 1.5/5

Had some interesting moments, but nothing to where I would want to return to it again. 2.5/5

Super meh...not a fan at all. 1.5/5

Have always felt Sublime is one of the most overrated bands of the 90s. Maybe it was overexposure, but these songs just result in some viseral reaction in me. Maybe it is the fact that there are countless Ska, Ska punk, and reggae bands that do it sooo much better.
Anyway, I know it is a me thing, and this album isn't terrible. But still...3/5
Some great highlights on this one...Depreston is a fave. CB has such a distinct voice and style. It works in short does for me but does get a little samey over the course of a full album. 3.5/5

So unique...so much energy. Loved this album at the time, maybe like it more now. I've Seen Footage is such a banger. 4.5/5

I remember giving this one a try when it came out. While I like it more this second time through, it still is nothing amazing. 2.5/5

Such a great album. Great blend of psychedelia and modern music. Not as great as Currents, but definitely a worthwhile listen. 4.5/5

I guess you had to be there...this one didn't register with me at the time. All I heard is someone who is maybe halfway comedy/halfway serious songs, and it doesn't work because he doesn't fully commit either way. Some of them are catchy enough that I question if he tried to just make pop music would the result be passable? 2/5

Super funky/jazzy, but without the pop sensibilities I would expect from this type of music. Like his older work better. 2.5/5

Really raw...interesting energy. Would be more into hearing a studio album to get the full feel of this band. 2.5/5

Not nearly as good as other DM offerings, but a decent enough listen. Don't know if it is anything above average though. 2.5/5
Enjoyable...Back to Oz is an absolute jam. The rest of the album is very "of the era" Sufjan, which is great. 4/5

Starts off super strong..tapers a bunch at the end. Solid pop though. 3/5

I've liked some of Sampha's guest spots. His voice is pretty unique and great to listen to, but the music doesn't do it for me. 2/5
It was fine I guess...little weird to have a video game soundtrack on here. It was fine as background music but nothing groundbreaking otherwise. 1.5/5

LOVED IT. Really like minimalism in general, and this one was a signing star I hadn't been exposed to in the past. 4.5/5
