I've always felt that this album should be right in my wheelhouse, but for whatever reason it always falls slightly flat. I think this is the first time I have been able to listen all the way through. It is decent, but I don't get all the hype. 3/5

Love Beck. This album was quite a change for me when it came out. Didn't appreciate it much at the time, but it has grown on me over time. 4/5

Interesting that contemporary critics were largely negative on this one...I could see it, especially compared to late Beatles works. Overall it is a decent album though, but not spectacular. 3/5
