I had never listened to this whole album before. Tons of well known tunes, including at least one Prince cover that I caught. I was pleasantly surprised with the non singles.

The singles off this one were and still are great. The rest is fun, but maybe not quite classics. Missy is one of the great rappers throughout though.

I love jazz and Miles Davis. I have to say though - this era of his work just doesn't speak to me. It got so experimental that it's hard to really spot the music sometimes.

I had never heard of this band. There were some highs, there were some mehs. It'd probably be a 3.5, if I could. Lots of variety and a cool lo-fi feel.

This is as close to perfect album as there is. BUT - Record Company, if you're reading this: release a version without the 'skits'. You'll make a ton of money as we will all buy this again. The skits were fun to hear once, but really kill the vibe if you just want some music.

Human nature is still a great one. Björk is a rare talent. I just get a bit tired of her singing voice over a full album.

I'm learning via this album generator that I am not a Leonard Cohen fan. It feels like I'm at a coffee shop poetry slam, not listening to music.

Great one. Holds up really well. There are a couple odd tracks, but almost all are solid.

I truly didn’t understand this one. I’m all for something different, but there was nothing to grab on to. Just a lot of noise and distant vocals.

One of the worst gimmicks on any album is the usage of preachy skits. 6 of the 14 tracks on this one are just that. Kills the vibe and makes repeat listens like nails on a chalkboard. Too bad, some of the tracks had a solid groove going.

I had this when it was new. Fun then and still is now. There are a couple misfires, but almost every track is solid.
