50s jazz and Miles Davis are two of my favorites. Easy 5 stars.

There are some fun moments, but nothing really special.

This takes me back to my earliest days of watching videos on MTV. I remember 'All I Wanna Do' was in heavy rotation at that time. The singles on this album are good, but the rest doesn't grab me. 3.5 stars.

Like most of the electronic music on this list, I think this would be cool at a club, rave or maybe if you’re on drugs. I don't know. It's not my jam otherwise.

Fun one. Some editing of the 7+ minute tracks would have helped. This was a 3.5 for my taste.

This is practically a greatest hits album. Easy five stars.

I enjoyed this one pretty much all the way through. Definitely some unfinished sounding songs, but what was there was pretty neat. I was pondering whether some of these would have been fantastic Beatles songs if they hadn't been breaking up. We'll never know.

It was hard to get into this one. Felt like a Reno lounge act with some random country elements.
I've heard this one a few times over the years - I'm just not in to the singer's voice.
There were a few interesting moments, but nothing I'd return to. I wonder if this kind of mostly instrumental music stood out more in it's day.
Rated 4/10
Very 90s era electronic sound. I bet if you're at a club and/or on drugs, this is great. Otherwise, not something I'd ever sit down and listen to.

I'm not sure how I had missed this excellent album before now, but I'm glad to know it now. I knew a few songs on it without realizing they were all from this band. The obvious example is Corona, which will be familiar to Jackass fans. Hearing an album like this for the first time is exactly the reason I'm doing this list. Great stuff.

Excellent dentist office waiting room music.
This was pretty interesting. Fun, innovative techniques, especially for the era. Did I enjoy it? Sure. Am I going to listen to it again? Nope.
Rated 6/10
Not bad, but pretty generic Brit pop for the era. Maybe this stood out more in 1980.

I think this will have to wait a while longer to be rediscovered.

I like a Pet Shop Boys single on the radio now and again, but a full album is too much.
A couple weird tracks, but overall really solid. Crazy to bury Instant Karma as the last track.

I had never heard this one before. Really fun, standout album. It was neat to hear some stuff from South Africa.

I liked this more than I expected to. 'Wild World' and 'Father and Son' are a couple classics. I will say that his singing voice wears on me over the course of a whole album, but otherwise this was pretty strong.
