IRELAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND

The Irish seem so fun, and the Scots too, so why are the Brits so fucking boring?

I may be Romanian, but listening to this album makes me feel like I'm living in the 1900s. My head starts getting heavy from all the rum I've been drinking at the pub after a long, treacherous journey at sea. The band of amateurs starts playing these songs. I raise my glass to all my comrades who have fallen ill and pour it all onto the ground. I stumble as I get up from the chair I've been sitting in and make my way towards the exit, stumbling all the way home, where my wife awaits me with yet another glass and her warm embrace.

If it were shorter maybe I'd have given it a 4? but after some time it gets too much. Kind of repetitive, I mean there's so much you can do with Irish tunes. For what it is though, I enjoyed it.

Okay, fuck this. I actually enjoy We Fight, We Love a fuck ton for some reason. It's really catchy. The whole album is pretty catchy, actually. I'm still not that much of a hip-hop fan. I debated giving this a 4, but I feel in my heart that a 3 is more deserving, coming from me. A 3.4, if I were to put an actual number, which is a clear improvement from my usual 2 on this genre.

I'm not well-versed in hip-hop at all. I didn't even know this guy was in A Tribe Called Quest. I barely know a few of their songs, but listening to this was still enjoyable. I caught myself bopping and vibing from time to time. It's not something I'd listen to on any given day, but I'm actually glad I got to listen to it.

BlurBlur

Rated 10/10

Damon, I'm sorry I wasn't familiar with your game. I thought Blur was strictly Britpop. Parklife was fine, but I think this is the best they could get. Don't quote me on that, though, since I kind of avoided Blur because I hated most of their better-known songs. I'm not the biggest fan of "Song 2" either, but I think I'm going to give them a chance now (probably a horrible idea). That Damon edit on TikTok also adds points to them.

Why the fuck does this guy have so many albums on here? At least The Beatles are inescapable, but I hadn't even heard of this guy before this challenge.

BEFORE YOU COME AT ME FOR NOT BEING A MUSIC SNOB LIKE YOU, I'M EASTERN EUROPEAN, SO SHUT UP. NOT THE ENTIRE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND YOUR MUSIC, MOVIES, AND STUPID TAKES. I'm talking about Americans and English people, in case that wasn't clear enough.

Man, I can't even begin to imagine what "Two Little Hitlers" is about to warrant a name like that. Can't wait to find out. I thought the nword I'd kept hearing about in the reviews was going to be in this song, but it wasn't. Bummer.

It wasn't as wild as I expected. I think I'm too dumb and too modern to understand the deeper meaning behind this song. Kind of like with John Lennon and his song about women.

RioDuran Duran

Rated 8/10

"Save a Prayer" and "The Chauffeur" are absolute BANGERS.
Now that I'm thinking about it, the ending is so strong that it makes me unable to rate this any higher than a 4. Idk what they put in those songs or what exactly they're making me feel, but the rest of the album just doesn't come close to them, IN MY OPINION.

If the whole album were like that, this would have been a clear 5. The other songs are a bit too upbeat. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but something about the last two songs intrigues me. It's making me so mad that the rest of the album doesn't sound the same that I end up enjoying those other songs less. It doesn't mean they're bad songs by any means. They just pale in comparison.
