Not sure who ripped off who but this is literally just 72-74 Bowie. He even wrote their biggest hit!
Anyway, this is like Aladdin Sane without any of the bigger hits. Became quite tedious. Some parts were catchier.
2.5 but I can’t give it a 3 as that suggests I liked it more than I didn’t which wasn’t the case.

Quite nice, like a more chilled out CCR. Quicksand was a great tune, Northern Soul vibes.
Rest was just ok. Interlude tracks were a bit odd but ‘Turn it over’ at the end of Side A was funny.

Technically my first album as my Dad bought this for me when I was about 7. What’s to say that hasn’t already been said? This is one of the greatest albums of all time.

Kid A’s weirder little brother.
I went into this thinking I disliked this album more than I actually did, there’s some really good songs here (I Might Be Wrong, Knives Out, etc) but there’s some odd instrumental offcuts which aren’t that good, the version of Morning Bell here isn’t as good as the Kid A version. It’s also missing the WOW moments from Kid A that elevate it to more than the sum of its parts.
Still… good album.

Just half an hour of pure rage. Essentially a soundscape with breaks.
Also that Dresden story on the top rated review is mad. I had that image in my head listening to this 🙃

Once again, a big ol’ removal of art and artist here. Makes sense the first track is them arguing about Morrissey.

This is pretty solid. Reminds me of a more country version of Damien Rice and David Gray.

Gets a little bit too slow and patient towards the end. Could have done with losing a couple of tracks.

Anyway enjoyed it more than I was expecting, but that’s not the highest bar

I like this conceptually. A ton of short songs, changing frequently like flicking through radio stations. And there are some brilliant songs (Game of Pricks being the standout). There’s also a lot of weird crap offcuts that aren’t good and weaken the experience. I will relisten at some point And maybe I’ll grow to fully love it, warts and all

Not exactly a hot take but best live album ever? Only downside is the fact there’s 3 Meat Puppets songs. Not bad, decent covers, but 3 in a row? Yes I know the Meat Puppets backed them up, but you’ve got limited time guys!
Anyway, the last song alone probably makes this an automatic 5 stars, but the rest of it is so damn good, I have no hesitation giving this full marks.

The type of Symphonic Metal that I do like!
This is decent, the faster, thrashier songs with the orchestral back up are brilliant, but the slower numbers DRAAAAAG. Makes me feel like I’m listening to Pearl Jam or something, and I’m not a Pearl Jam fan.
If this was half the length and cut the fat, I’d consider a higher rating. Probs a 3.5 for me but has to on here be 3 as I can’t quite give it a 4. Sorry fellas :/

So chilled it’s frozen. Very cool and good album to relax to. Makes you feel lighter than…. something.

These guys are sweet, it’s hard to hate them. Remember Love Plus One being on an 80s compilation that I ate up when I was 10. Sophistipop isn’t my favourite genre, there’s a few here that were slightly boring, but generally this was enjoyable. 3.5 but can’t quite give it a 4 unfortunately.

The og teenage rebellion album. Still holds up, despite it slightly losing momentum in the middle.
Also, why is You Outta Know basically on here twice? I know it’s a different version, but they sound almost identical!
