Like a band from out of time. This sound is such a throwback to the 60's sound in a modern jam form. I guess thinking about it that way, there is no way that this could have been from the 60's because all its stylistic tendencies are sharpened and modified to fit this format. So a very modern old sound? People Everywhere (Still Alive) deserves its single status. Kinda crazy to think this is a power trio.

As a pop fan this opening track is a total banger. Its structured a lot more like a pop or hip hop record with all the guest stars, but Poppy and Electrical Callboy being on tracks 1 and 2 are so cool. Its like the perfect mix of brutal beat downs, cheesy beginner level Japanese elements, and perfect compression. Algorism rules.

Huskar Du is one of those bands that never clicked for me and this solo project isn't really my thing either. The static wailing on Hair Stew is too loud and is absolutely irritating.

A nostalgic album. listening to this at 15 felt so cool. Those drums on Vicarious are just buttery. The Pot is a personal favorite. Though the end of the album is kind of a drag.

His breakout album, god Better Together is like seared into my mind in a very unpleasant way. His laid back beachy vibes makes him feel like this generations Jimmy Buffet. Breakdown almost made me physically sick from the collective wave of memory. God I hated this album when it came out and now i somehow hate it more. though Jack's voice is pleasant. so on its merits, without baggage, its fine. but dear lord this was difficult for this listener.

Sgt. Baker was the first song to grab me. Les's bass work is incredible. Jerry Was A Racecar Driver is a bop. Is It Luck is rad. Tommy The Cat is a bop. Super cool album!

Golden is a solid opener and very lush. Watermelon Sugar sounds like the lyrics came out through an AI blender, God I hate this song. I can almost forgive Cherry, but yea Falling? Go to hell, Harry. Rolling Stone must have been really desperate to feather out their 500 albums. God damnit i hate this super star I'm sad gutter shit. Harry, you wouldn't know heartbreak from the view in your superstar mansion.

This was fine! not as iconic as Riot but very much a natural progression for the band and felt like a very logical maturation.

I don't like this album. As a formational hardcore album it deserves to be on the list but lord I find it a slog. With the sole exception of Suburban Home, that track rips. Hope is the other good track on here, the rest is trash.

There are some cool tracks on here, Life Is Just A Tire Swing, Makin' Music For Money, A Pirate Looks At Forty (even if its kinda gross). An icon for Florida Boomers all over, just getting drunk and doing boomer shit until they die. Sick.
