Last Great American Whale is a lyrical powerhouse of critique. but honestly the whole affair fell flat for me.

This Whole World was full of cool textures. Deidre is another good one. This feels like my uncle Pete would have this spinning at most times of the day. Cool, Cool Water is such a bizarre song. super dense choral work, Beach bois

Aim and Ignitefun.

Yea this delivers. Has that Jack Antonoff sound, but i personally prefer the crunchier sounds of his work with The Bleachers.

An old favorite of mine. I remember being drunk at a house party in Long Island arguing about 4th wave ska and then falling out of my chair and being hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. Threw up on the Throggs Neck bridge going home. Good times. Slumlord shows off Jeff's ability as a story teller. The horn section is absolutely everywhere. In a world of bloodless emoting and posturing in the scene, this record reminds me of the simpler, sweatier, more aggressive sounding times of my youth.
