Holy shit the video for Sixteen Saltines is the most punk shit I have ever seen. Love Interruption is a good song. Blunderbuss is a good song. I'm Shakin' is a blues swing rocker. Wow, a really strong modern blues rock album that is worth revisiting.

Man what goofy album. i hear the seeds of a lot of Primus's work in here. Some songs are fun and quirky, others are just flat out atonal and out in outer space. I have no idea what to do with this album, so i will give it a 3.

House Of The Rising Sun is ascendent. Joan is a very technically accomplished singer/guitar player. But can someone please explain the appeal of this folk singer crap? I hated it in the 2010s and find it boring here, too. Though the strength of her vocal are the only thing that keep me interested.

Shadowboxing is a great song. Investigative Reports is another one. I'm not super into the first half of the album, but I'm vibing more with the end of it.

The word play here is pretty damn lame. God get me out of this album. Thank god thats over.

wow this is off to a boring start. The middle is pretty mid. and the end just sort of happened. Whatever.

This opening song sucks ass. The rest of the album isn't much better. Wow that stunk.

The opening tracks have this fun jangle pop rock quality that is infectious. Phenomenal Cat is stupid as hell.

This sucks. It just doesnt go anywhere. Her music is just so tired sounding. Flower is just really uncomfortable to listen to.

Holy Wars is one of the iconic guitar riffs. Poison Was The Cure has a cool opening bass line. Tornado Of Souls is killer. If I am in a heavy metal mood, this album should be in rotation.

The Eath Died Screaming is a haunting track. This album is such a workout. Waits is determined to go under every rock to scratch the holes. A Little Rain is so totally out in left field. In The Colesseum is a killer, ramshackle dirge.

This is probably the best i have heard Rod sound. The guitar work is good. Maggie May is a hit, though it already sounds tired. meh like the rest of his work.

This is a cool dance album. Jacques Your Body Makes Me Sweat is a banger.

Man this album is a total time capsule. REM is such an odd band sonically, so its just lodged in my brain that their sound has this time period stuck to it. Nothing really got out of second gear for me, sorry REM.

I really like the tone and feeling of the record, all the harp is entrancing and the harpist is fucking shredding the whole time. The lyrics are dense and I can't seem to penetrate them on this listen through. Cosmia I could see Katie covering.

Nuuuuuuuu Metalllllll. God damn Manson using the N word in '96? The Beautiful People is a banger. But the rest of this album is fucking tedious. The Reflecting God is okay, from like a doomer perspective.

These guys are fine.

oh man the autotune on this record is atrocious. This is real bad. The only song I enjoyed was What It Feels Like For A Girl.

This is a cool album. I really did dig this.
