really good production. for something in a genre that i dont listen to its well done. the lack of variation between the songs makes the long runtime feel even longer. additionally the last two songs are just different mixes of the two singles which don't feel like they shouldve been on the original version of the album

even knowing that i liked paper planes, i expected to hate this album given my experience with her first album. i was pleasantly surprised how listenable this was. there are a few odd choices but overall its fun and catchy. as a whole its probably closer to a 3 than a 4 but i saved a few of the tracks so im bumping it up
this album was a slog to get through which is saying something considering the relatively short runtime

i appreciate the site creator overriding the random nature of the algorithm to push a beach boys album in honor of Brian Wilson. it was a very interesting album. i didnt realize the beach boys had music that sounded like this. i was between 4 and 5 on this but the album art pushes me over the fence to 5.
Rated 6/10
nice bass throughout, and some decent guitar work. the songs themselves were pretty boring
Rated 8/10
very interesting album. not something i think i'd want to come back to but it was enjoyable.
Rated 8/10
the debut album by an iconic band who would go on to inspire many of my favorite bands. however, listening to the album in full makes it apparent how similar all of the songs sound. this album is really just three songs repeated over and over again. its enjoyable for the duration of the short runtime but not much longer.
this was a tough listen. a few cool beats that drag on way too long. i spent some of that extra time reading about the artist which further soured my thoughts on the album
Rated 8/10
well produced jazz rock album with some incredibly well done instrumentals. the songs themselves are little boring which keeps it from getting a 5
Rated 6/10
i have similar thoughts on this as i did the previous beastie boys album. i thought this one had a lot more interesting instrumentals that relied less on sampling(as far as i could tell). the length is still a problem, i was ready to bow out a little less than halfway through.
Rated 6/10
same complaint as their other album on the list, too long for what it is, still decent overall
Rated 6/10
i don't understand the hate for this album on here. its not great but by no means is bad. sounded a bit like bob dylan mixed with billy joel
Rated 10/10
great punk album
not as good as the one we got from them last week. its always a pleasure to listen to chuck d but less so when it comes to flavor flav.
Rated 6/10
pretty bland, but not bad
Rated 8/10
this album is cursed. ive tried to listen to it on three separate occasions and each time i was repeatedly interrupted. i felt like this is an album that really needs a full uninterrupted listen to appreciate it but alas i dont think that will happen. it has a lot of interesting things going on. im not sure if i like all of them but overall pretty enjoyable
Rated 8/10
the title track is really good, the rest range from good to fine
Rated 8/10
this one is interesting. its very poorly produced, even by live album standards, and the audio balancing is all over the place. that said i did really enjoy the songs and the fact that its live helps bring the energy needed for songs like this.
Rated 6/10
they had me in the first half, im not gonna lie. i thought this was gonna be my least favorite of their albums weve had so far but the second half turned it around for me.
