NowhereRide

Rated 6/10

How I feel about shoegaze is all in this album. It's either fine or kinda annoying but once in a while you'll find a really good song in the genre. This album is fine, it can get kinda annoying with how repetitive it can be sometimes, but Vapour Trail is so goddamn good the ending string arrangement is so beautiful. I'm aware that not all shoegaze albums can't be Loveless by My Bloody Valentine, but I wish it can be, but I can see why people say this is one of the best shoegaze albums.

This is not the "happy go lucky" Swedish music that I was expecting, but despite this album being mostly about heartbreak and I Let The Music speak sounding like it came straight from Transylvania, it's still nice.

You ever hear an album you haven't listened to for a while and hope it's still as good as you overplayed it years ago and it's even better cuz you understand music a bit more? Also, how is this the same nigga that made Loser

"1001 albums to hear before you die" nah bro I could've lived without hearing this. I feel like this is what U2 is to people who don't like U2.

Not that they were bad but his voice kinda got annoying there for a while. Some songs were pretty alright. The album as a whole was better than I expected.

Uhh... it's fine I guess. I'm sure this would hit if I took some molly in a race at an anime convention, but instead I listened to maybe half the album sober in my living room. Sounds nice, I can see how someone would like this, I'm just not even close to being the target audience for it. Cool album cover tho.

What in the fucking world? Couldn't even finish it.I usually like shit like this, especially lyrically, but this ain't it for me man.

So listening to this I just thought it was okay, but then the last few songs hit me like a goddamn truck. A unique artist that a lot of other artists still miss to this day and his melancholic lyrics and laid back singing is the reason for that. Some songs may sound over produced, and no his voice isn't the best for a few songs, but it's when it's more laid back in production and the voice sounds well that really makes this album haunting, especially knowing it was his last album before he died.

If Radiohead didn't move into more electronica with OK Computer and Kid A, I think this is what they would sound like. I've heard many times that Muse sounds like Radiohead but I didn't think so with the handful of hits they got, but listening to this album fully I totally understand now. And that's not a bad thing because this album is pretty damn good. Starlight was already on of my favorite songs ever AND the song from Twilight where they play baseball while raining is on here? That's automatically 4 stars.

What is this shit dawg. A third is pretty good britpop and the rest was just....random stuff. Some was okay most was...not.

I wish I was in a soft pop duo with my sister. The first half of this album is very good but the second is just alright, but Karen Carpenter's beautiful voice more than makes up for it. I was reading the reviews on here and I feel like they think they're too tough to really appreciate her beautiful voice because The Carpenters is very laid back, kinda dentist office-esqe music, but get off your high horse The Carpenters are pretty good and Close To You is one of the greatest and most beautiful songs ever recorded.

It's Joni my guy. At her worst, she's still probably the best that ever did it. At her best she is absolutely the best to ever do it. I've never heard this before so looking into it in the reviews and critical acclaim saying it is one of her best, I expected to think it's good, and I do.

This album is just really nice and chill. An album you'll listen to sitting on your porch on a sunny spring day. Some call it boring, I call it chill and relaxing.

25Adele

Rated 6/10

I've never listened to an Adele album before but after listening to this, honestly pretty good album, I've realized my thoughts on her haven't changed. My thoughts on Adele?: She has one of the greatest voices modern music has ever heard, and yet she's kinda boring. I know as a black man from Detroit I'm not her demographic, but I appreciate music enough to give my honest opinion on her. These songs are sung well, the melody of each instrument are well put together, but man it's just kinda boring. Maybe it's this album but man who the fuck hurt her.
