OK proto-metal, psychedelic rock. Nice example of post-Woodstock rock.

It's ok. Ryder's voice does get a bit much. The bonus stuff is where where magic happens.
Possibly the least painful NY release we've had so far. 2.5*

Great rock music played fast and loud.

An album of 2 halves. Mellow first side, then the "Krautrock" 2nd. Both have their merits but the 2nd is what I would go back to.

I had very low expectations with this but it was not too bad. The vocals grate a little but I can see it's appeal.
A fun way to spend a couple of hours. The concept is good. I enjoyed the older stuff but the Load/ReLoad tracks just seem to merge into each other.
I suppose this is here to remind us of those 5 minutes when Nu_metal was about. Aged really badly. There is some nice use of sampling /other peoples tunes. Suffers from CD bloat though. The last two tracks could definitely be missed off.

A great piece of 80s pop but with the undercurrent of critiquing Thatcher's Britain. Excellent production, 2 #1 singles. 4.5*

Was she drunk when she recorded this? It is awful. A truly painful experience.

I enjoyed the jazziness of this,.
The album is so much more than *that* cover. We have tasteful use of the Funky Drummer loop, Irish folk, straight up rock, cracking bass work from Jah Wobble & Andy Rourke but above all Sinead's voice shines through.

A couple of Ok tracks, but overall a bit saccharine for my taste.

Wow, that was a ride. Noise, sonic drunkenness, claustrophobia. That was a an assault. And not totally unpleasent.

Effectively Malcolm McLaren and the Art of Noise and that AON influence comes through. An interesting artifact, gets a bit repetitive but was one of the first commercial "world music" hits in UK.
Rated 6/10
An interesting but slightly bloated piece of early 90s electronica. It would be interesting to hear the original LP version rather what id now on streaming services. Move Any Mountain was defenitely a classic of its time.
Rated 8/10
Peters out over the last few tracks but still an enjoyable album. Interesting harmonies and solid musicianship throughout. Not something I would put on by choice. 3.5*

A strategy perfectly executed - make something as bland AF and let the American market lap it up. a solid 2.5 stars.
Rated 4/10
Starts off ok but but gets very tedious after 4 or 5 tracks.
Rated 2/10
Really not for me. Her default pitch is irritating. I was hoping for a bit of variety but it was the same mush throughout.
