Hard to judge in full as this is my first exposure to Cheap Trick, but really liked what I heard! Live albums are difficult as I tend to rate them on what they add to the original songs, so this rating may be outdated in the future once ive heard the underlying studio versions!

Mixed bag, but can really hear the potential! None of the tracks are terrible, but not a lot really set on fire either

Probably a 7/10, maybe an 8 because of the classics. However each time I’ve listened through I’ve liked and disliked different album tracks, so hard to pin down a rating. Some of the songs are on the long side too - obviously meant to be listened to in another context

Absolutely not for me. Just came across to me as whiny genetic rock, a cheap knockoff of Sonic Youth and other 90s alt bands.

Not sure I can give this higher than a 3. Washes over me, and not in a good way. Blends into the background very easily and doesnt grab me. Might be harsh.

Interesting couple of tracks but a little sleepy and long in parts.

Close to a 10. Just such as consistent cool style throughout the record. Not to mention how influential it is on rap in general

I really think that this double album is let down by The Love Below - I just dont find the songs that compelling. Clearly doing a Prince thing, and it doesnt work for me (obviously apart from Roses / Hey Ya! of course!) Speakerboxxx is a very solid album with a couple of highlights.
