This was cool. The covers were super interesting. Some of these songs went hard. A mix of exactly what I was expecting and some very unexpected.

11/12ths of the album was good, pretty straightforward classic garage/psych rock. 1/12ths of this was a song that I'm sure has a reason for being on the album but I can't say what. Some unusual ?baroque? rock on there too? Overall, I liked it; I would listen again.

Great songwriting, great singing, very well done classic country album. Easy to listen to and enjoy.

I know there is so much hype around them; I just don't get it. It's not my scene for sure. I think it's also context-dependent; it might not really be music to just sit down and listen to. Definitely important for the genre, and with lots of positive reviews to show for it, it's boring and repetitive for me.

Several really nice songs, Joan has a beautiful voice. I can only get so much out of folk songs from this era but it's very well done. Another instance of a House of the Rising Sun rendition.
Rated 6/10
I know a lot of people love this album. I enjoyed it, but it seemed to lack variety, felt a bit repetitive, and I was honestly a little bored of it at times. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt that I’m just missing something, or that I need to give it more listens.

As far as hip-hop goes I always enjoyed The Roots approach that brought a variety of musical styles, instrumentation, influences, I just find it more engaging. Still things that are a miss for me as it's not my favorite genre, but I liked it.

Such variety of style here, a lot of great stuff. I felt the first couple of tracks were ok but it really picked up with Wolfman Jack and I liked it more as it carried on. Equally impressive that Todd plays all the instruments on the first 3/4 essentially. It's long and I didn't give it as many listens as I would like.
Rated 6/10
Good crooner album, the usual Sinatra fare. A little less energy than some of his other albums.
Rated 4/10
This is an interesting album for me, and I still don't really know what to do with it. I just can not take the noise rock songs, it's absolutely overpowering and ruins half the album for me. That said, there are tracks I do like quite a bit. I get some Lou Reed / Velvet Underground inspiration in some parts, but in others the feedback is absolutely grating. Taken as a whole work I just can't give it a good rating.
Rated 8/10
While this kind of music with this level of synthesizers and sampling etc. isn't necessarily my thing, it was extremely well done and easy to listen to, and felt like I could have it on in a variety of settings to either set the mood or to dig in deeper to hear the depth of sound.

Awesome jam album with incredible variety of instruments. Funky, great drumming, fun to listen to.
Rated 4/10
Interesting mix, album seems to get a lot of praise. It felt a little like early electronic, very much experimental, a little too much for me. Some bright spots in the drumming and some unusual melodies, but also very repetitive and essentially not much vocals to speak of.
Rated 10/10
Great jam album
Rated 8/10
Just some solid reggae, totally chill and easy to listen to, how could you not love it.
Rated 6/10
There is a lot I like in here and some great guitar work, augmented by the local sounds and instruments. I felt it got redundant at times, they would lay down a great grove and it would run the whole song. Overall enjoyed.
Rated 8/10
Super weird and fun to listen to, enjoyed it quite a bit.
Rated 6/10
This was good, a little more low key output than some of the other work but mellow and enjoyable
Rated 8/10
Debated between a 3 and 4 because it is quite good, even if it’s not something I typically go to or will give many re-listens. It really is a solid album in just about every way, and probably Taylor’s best work.
Rated 4/10
I appreciate the weirdness in it and the musical variation.
