Amazing this was released in 1987.

I've been aware of the Allman Brothers all my life, apparently in name only. What a great album and an instant classic to be sure.

Hard to rate this. Not really my jam, and struggling to really place its genre. Country lounge music? I can appreciate the artistry, but it just doesn't click for me.

A solid 3 that grew to a four by the time the album finished. Really appreciated the shift from standard southern rock to more blues.

Pure 80s

Just not for me. Hits a lot of generic 70s vibes and the covers do not stand out.

A classic for me and loved passjng down the appreciation to my kids.

Overall aged to meh.

Love Air, this album is a good ambient listen but leans too heavily on the ambience to be terribly memorable.

Tom waits is always a tough review. He's at his best, for me, with the slow songs. Whenever it ramps up to carnival cacophony I have to hit skip.
