I liked this one less than the other Aguilera we had to listen to (and I didn't like that one.)

It's just so overproduced and boring. Her voice is strong, but it can't redeem what else is going on here. And it falls into that late 90s, early 2000s trap of *Hey* we have 80 mins that we can fit on a CD, let's fill the thing up. No, it's too long. You could've cut 4 or 5 songs and it still would've gotten the same point across.

This was very strange. His voice sounds like a parody I heard in a movie or something.

But if I can get past the vocals, I do like some of what's here. And I never thought of turning it off, so it has that going for it.

I liked this one a lot. Plenty of songs that are popular and for a good reason. It's almost a 5 star, but not quite.

This was quite weird and I'm not sure in a way that I particularly like. Feel Flows is a fine song that I knew before listening to this album (but I don't know if I knew it was The Beach Boys) but other than that, not a ton here I really enjoyed.

It may have been a lot better when it came out, but I don't think it holds up or is timeless at all. And I'm shocked to see it at the top of so many Top XXX lists of blah blah blah. That I don't get.

While this isn't my favorite Eels album, it's still great and I love listening to it. Glad to listen to it again.

I thought the main album was just okay. I apparently listened to the deluxe version which had some blues versions of a couple of songs that I liked better. It was fine.

I had this CD in high school/college and I played it a lot. And the reason I played it a lot is because it's really good. It's been a few years since I listened to it all the way through, which is a shame. Is it a 5 star? No, not quite, but it's pretty close.

Really fun album! I really enjoyed listening to this. And even Anna said it "wasn't that bad" though she said she had never hear We Got The Beat before which I find crazy.

I don't get it. This is popular enough to be the superbowl halftime show act? Baffling.

I didn't like the first album we had to listen to by him, and I like this one less. It's just so boring. The last song on the album (Compton with Dr. Dre) had a little bit of life to it, but I had already made up my mind that I hated this album by then.

The first half of this album was okay, the second half dragged for me. I'm just not loving all the electronic music I've been listening to lately. Hopefully today's album has some real lyrics.

I thought this was fine. I could’ve been better and didn’t need two songs over 10 minutes long. But the parts that were good were pretty good.

I really enjoyed this one. UK style reggae done really well. Good stuff, will listen again.

Hmm, tough listen for sure. But there's something here I don't hate. I know about them a little from the documentary Desolation Center which was really good, and I think they'd be awesome to see live. It's raw, which I like, but it can be grating at a times. I really do think I listen to parts of this again though.

It took me a few songs to get into it, and I didn't realize at first who the lead singer was (just listened to it blind.) Since I'm a fairly big fan of Blur, it wasn't really surprising to me that I ended up liking this album quite a bit by the end and found myself putting it back on again shortly after. There's something here that is very compelling and I will revisit.
