One of, if not my, favorite Elton John albums. The collaboration between John and Taupin is just wonderful, the lyrics are fun and interesting, and the piano is great. Terrific album and one of the few double albums so far that I haven't thought was too long.

I had to listen to this one twice. The first time I was in the car and my kids were talking over it most of the time. Wasn't a fair listen but I still heard some things that I thought were good and I wanted to try again.

Glad I did, listened a second time and really really liked it. Loved the guitar work. Great stuff here!

Ahh, Springsteen. I've said it before, but I've never been a big fan. And there's a few songs on here that are really good, but there's a bunch that I'm not a huge fan of either. Nebraska was great, this one wasn't. It evens out to be an okay album, but that's just it for me, okay.

I never got the need to hit the skip button or anything like that. But it's not good, it's strange to come from the time period it did, and I'll never listen to it again. Good voice, I guess?

Didn't like this one at all. Not sure what I'm supposed to get from it, or how it was supposed to do anything but annoy me.

I started off not liking this one much. But by the end I found myself nodding along with the beats a little. I probably wouldn't choose to listen to this one again. But I never wanted to turn it off so it must be okay.

There's nothing really wrong with this, except I don't understand the importance of it or why it's on the list. Everything here has been done better by other artists. It's totally fine, and I wouldn't turn it off. But it's not going to be put into heavy rotation, either.

It’s hard to beat this album in the singer/songwriter category, especially since you have 4 singer/songwriters working (kinda) together.

Great songs with great harmonies. And don’t sleep on the guitars in this album, they’re really good, too.

Great pick

Wasn't a fan. A couple of times I found myself in a trance like thing listening, which might have been the point. But I can't ever see trying to listen to this one again. And I hated the movie clips.

I'm not a huge Bruce fan, normally. But I REALLY liked this album. A whole lot. The stories, and stripped down production, everything. It all just worked.

Wild GiftX

Rated 10/10

I'm much less familiar with this as I was Los Angeles. And I still think L.A. is better, but this is still excellent and I will listen to it a lot.
