3.5, quite nice but not terribly memorable
Rated 10/10
northern star is one of the most gorgeous, heart-wrenching songs ever written

and toss the rest

i was ready to be a hater but this was much more interesting than i was expecting. somehow shook me out of my anxious mood despite (because of?) frequently sounding like a panic attack. solid 4

Rated 7/10
a decent little album but i don't think you'd need to listen to it before you die. hokoyo is cool. 3.5
Rated 7/10
front-loaded with a lot of forgettable-to-bad songs but grew on me by the end. still either highly overrated or needs more listens and time to grow on me. 3.5 for now
Rated 10/10
can't give them more than 80 all time classics

fatboy mid
Rated 6/10
a perfectly fine album that doesn't do much for me. a respectful 3.5
Rated 8/10
not typically a genre i would choose to listen to outside of this challenge but i liked this a lot more than i thought i would. i'm the one is particularly great. love the weird chorus of squealing in you really got me. love little dreamer and ice cream man as well. elevated butt rock
i've never liked this extremely "easy listening hits of the 80's and 90's" production style, but there's enough genuine talent and heart here that it manages to still be pretty listenable. respectable 3.5
Rated 6/10
some great tunes (including the all-time classic title track) but not that consistent as an album. deserves its place here nevertheless
