I almost feel inclined to give it a four because I know Miles Davis can go much harder, but at the same time, it's so pleasant to listen that if it had anyone else's name on it, I'd give it a five.

Maybe a tad bit long and repetitive, but against all expectations I did actually like it.

Putting this in the tortured cats category. Maybe there's a significant historical reason for its inclusion in the book that I'd know if I had read it, but it was most certainly not chosen for listening enjoyment.

The only positive is that the final track is named "Get Out of My House", which is exactly my thoughts towards Kate Bush after this.

It's an alright record, better than I expected really. I could've done with less yapping. Not saying that she's necessarily wrong (except for the part about Trump not picking petty fights, hoo boy did that not age well), but I already don't like skits, and having Missy Elliott rant for 60+ seconds between tracks isn't any better.

I imagined that I'd give this a 3/5 or a 4/5 before listening, but now that I'm listening to it, I cannot think of a single reason why I wouldn't give this a 5/5. It's just so extremely solid even though I'm not generally a punk listener.

The ChronicDr. Dre

Rated 8/10

I liked this more than I would have imagined, since I've gotten some fairly bad 90s gangsta rap albums already. Would be a better album without the skits though.

The album started off with what I presume was the fire alarm, then continued with some chickens being strangled and cats in heat. I wouldn't say it's complete noise, but there's definitely a lot of it.

This is my third Morrissey album after "Viva Hate" and "You Are the Quarry", or the fifth if you count The Smiths' "Strangeways, Here We Come" and "The Queen Is Dead", and I do not understand why this should be in the book when there's already so much Morrissey and there's nothing remarkable about this album.
