Rated 8/10

First listen but not really first listen. I enjoy her unique vocal inflections that make even dark themed songs sound jovial. I hadn’t realized, until this listen, how much the instrumentals had aged. I still very much enjoy this album.

First listen. I like portions of this album. I also understand that there are some political messages within this that may be lost in its distance from current day.

First listen. I can see the light here but it is so far away. I’m not connecting with this album and I don’t think it’s bad. I’ll need to re-listen when I have a chance.

Few listens. I enjoy this album. The first two songs, which I believe were singles, are fantastic. The remainder of the album is solid without any standouts.

Reading the wiki watched; I’ll never respect any review that Jon Landau puts out. Ranking this and Plastic Ono Band over All Things Must Pass is egregious.

First listen. Why is this album on this list? This is a snooze fest of pop rock. I can understand that they were expanding their horizons sonically and it comes off as disingenuous.

First listen. This was great. Soul, RnB, blues, funk, psych rock, social issues. This album has everything you could want from a late sixties masterpiece.

First listen. It’s pretty good. I’m a little confused as to why it made this list though.
