Too long George, way too long.

Of course this album sounds incredibly 70s but it's very coherent and it conveys the feeling of a whole unifying concept which I quite liked.
Rated 4/10
OK it's energetic, punk and so on but you need to be in the mood to listen to this. It's not an album that will put you in the mood to actively want to listen to it.
Another day it might have been a 3.5, today it's a 2.5. Grading low.
Another quite fun album. I like this kind of 90's hip hop.
Favorite Songs: People Everyday ; Mr Wendal

Yet another T. Rex album that leave me without much sentiment about it. There were some more memorable songs but in the end I don't think I'll ever go back to it.
Rated 8/10
Just some fun rock'n'roll with nice variation in the song styles.
Favorite Songs: No Dancing ; Blame it on Cain ;
Rated 4/10
Just some classic rock. I won't remember this much I think.
Favorite Songs: Just What I Needed

The logical conclusion to Kid A and OK Computer. It closed the golden years of radiohead where almost every album was 5*.
As radiohead has always been extremely solid on album it's still the case here : the correct blend of rock and electronic music that very few group where able to master as much as them.
Favorite Songs: it's difficult to chose some songs that stand out more than others
Rated 6/10
Far from being my preferred Portishead album, it's still something that I will listen with pleasure albeit not very frequently.
Rated 6/10
There are many things that should make me love so much this album yet it didn't clicked.
It's solid, I like it but no I don't love it (and to be honest it's always like that with MBV).
Rated 6/10
Nice and uplifting album.
Favorite Songs: Just a gigolo

The groove on this album is what caught me first. Lots of idea that I think would have been better distilled in multiple shorter songs.
Favorite Songs: Chameleon
Rated 4/10
Sounds good but I was not in the right mood to listen to folk, I'll try again some day.
Favorite Songs: The Way Young Lovers Do
Almost painful to listen to.
Rated 4/10
Well it's not unpleasant, the mix of genre is fresh but the album is way too long.
Favorite Songs: Mele H'Bibti ; Derwiche Tourneur ; C'est la nuit
Rated 4/10
Yes the title song has been heard so many times that it can be skipped and still be present in your head. Unfortunately the same can not be said of the remaining songs as it's as standardized rock as it can be. It's peak standardized rock maybe even defining it but it's still too bland.
Favorite Songs: Hotel California
Rated 6/10
A solid start with Cloud Nine and Heard it Through the Grapevine but then while it is still pretty good it becomes less funky and loses a bit of its interest.
Favorite Songs: Cloud Nine ; Heard it Through the Grapevine
Rated 1/10
The first three songs are as ridicule as the cover art. Why would you do something like that in 2003 ? It's probably a kind of parody or something but it lands flat from my pov.
Will it get on my nerves and get a 1 or will it blend in the background and be 2? Time will tell.
Rated 8/10
I was not expecting much from this album and I've been pleasantly surpised. It starts strongly and is a bit more forgettable in the second half but it's still a good record.
Favorite Songs: Girls Just Want to Have Fun ; Time After Time
Rated 8/10
An album where you're hooked from the start by the great voice and melodies. Not much fuzz to go around, just a voice, a guitar, some drums and it's enough.
Favorite Songs: Talkin' bout a Revolution ; Fast Car
