For me, Revolver and Sgt. Pepper's are the essential Beatles. This album is more famous for where it stands in the Beatles discography and the iconic album art.

*Very high highs and some others songs that are OK.
*The mid-tempo songs are not at all as good as the singles.

*I'm all for non-conventional, psych-rock, alternative, etc. but this is a little too out there for me. This makes it feel slow at times and disjointed.

*Great mix of punk and prog- especially for its time.
*Probably because of those influences, I like this better than most metal bands. Same for me with how Black Sabbath is influenced by the blues.

*Decent rap/hip hop album
*I appreciate that it doesn't have a bloated run time and the bass on several tracks is great.

*The singles are good, but don't necessarily all hold up like they did in 2002.
*Definitely a victim of excess tracks on CDs of the time
*Many tracks were too slow R&B for my taste

*I know this album is significant for its time in the alt-rock movement of the early 90s, but it seems to follow a similar pattern of many albums of this time period: A radio single very different from the rest of the album's content coupled with most other songs that are the band's "actual" sound. Nothing on this album is bad, but many of the tracks started to blend together for me over the course of my listening.

*Very orchestral and had lots of interesting moments, but may have had too much going on at times.
