*This was a cool discovery...I had heard Genius of Love tons of times but didn't ever really think about where it came from.
*Also didn't realize the Talking Heads connections
*This got a little too experimental at times but I loved the beat and originality of its time

*Love the fuzz guitars and lo-fi punk sound
*Do not like that the vocals sound like they are bored with their own band...I know this is fundamental to later shoegaze, but I don't like that genre at all.

*These guys are all about the guitars.
*I always thought these guys were more hair metal than rock/pop-rock/prog/etc. but this had different sounds which made it for a good listen

*Stan is fantastic but a lot of this became dated quickly and sounds like it exists for shock value only.
*Also a victim of 90s/2000s CD overload with too long a running time

*We are Family is clearly the notable track from this album
*Great bass lines on these disco tracks
*I've always thought Sister Sledge was a better name for a metal band

*I had never heard of this band as a a punk fan, this rocks.
*Some songs are a little unrefined but the garage rock production and the organ for 1966 was so ahead of its time.

*Roundabout is awesome, but unfortunately the album doesn't continue to sound like that. The keyboards and bass are cool, but they don't elevate this album to more than a 3.

*I can't get into this music more than enjoying it as background.
*Good musicianship and I liked the parts that sounded like punk.
