I wish I could say those lyrics have aged like milk, alas I'm typing this in the age of the 🤮manosphere🤮

Please read this, dear stranger:

Like chugging a litre of beige paint.

Just off the top of my dome, this was released the same year as Emmylou Harris' Cowgirl's Prayer, and the Breeders Last Splash if you, dear reader, need a palate cleanser, or two 🍻

"Black radio shame, pop rap’s to blame,
Program your playlist to sound the same,
With a disco tempo, cliche intro,
Wack rap tracks for commercial shows,
Mindless music for the masses has to take,
Time away from the real rap master,
So I’ll stay cool for community airplay,
While ratings slip for the sh** that you play”

- This Is A Test (from The Devil Made Me Do It - Paris, also released in 1990)

I wish I was a cop.

Specifically, the cop that pulled this cultural shitstain over for drunk driving, and genuinely didn't know who he was when he pulled his "I''m JusTiN tiMberLakE" crap.

Truly blessed.

Dear Reader, you've stumbled upon a side quest!

A misheard translation led to this band's name:

Thee Michelle Gun Elephant - Casanova Snake

Reward: Gear Blues is pretty awesome, too!

Nine-hundred and fifty-eight albums into this project.

This is 🎯easily🎯 the worst

If this is "sexy music" hand me a wimple and sign me up to the nearest nunnery.

Not sure which version I'm supposed to be reviewing.

The original E.P (1988, six tracks) gets 3/5 from me. The 1990 re-release (12 tracks) is a solid 4/5.

However, the Spotify link leads to the 32-track Deluxe Edition? I ain't about that life, dawg.

I'm gonna pretend this submission is "Superfuzz Bigmuff Plus Early Singles (1990)" because "Touch me I'm sick" slappps.
