A whirlwind of emotions. Mostly hate for having to listen to this. But also laughter at how ridiculously stupid it is. And a dash of depression for the precious time I lost. Truly, truly awful. Embarrassingly awful.

Smooooove.

My criteria for three stars is " I would never put this on by choice but I wouldn't be upset if it happened to be on somewhere". This album comes in at 3.0000000000000
Rated 4/10
I had heard of this band but never actually heard them. I always had the expectation that they would be someone I liked and just haven't checked out yet. Boy was I wrong. This just sucks. I can't even picture what the audience for this is.
Once again proving the fundamental issue with Prog Rock...just because you can doesn't mean you should.
Rated 6/10
Not my thing. But no hate. Some shades of Bjork that I appreciated.
Rated 10/10
Yeah, obviously, iconic. This is ingrained in the culture and psyche of pretty much anybody who was alive to hear this when it came out. I was 21 when this came out. All of my favorite bands were the same bands that Nirvana ends up listing as their influences. It felt like they were writing this for me.
In the 35 years since then, this album and band have become over glorified due to the cultural mythology of Cobain. At the same time, I think a lot of us are tired of hearing it over and over again (even me). But setting aside all that baggage, this is still a five-star album forever.

So underrated
Rated 8/10
3 musical geniuses chained to a no-talent slab of beef. Every time I listen to this band I imagine Flea and Frusciante are Good Will Hunting and Kedis is the professor: "A little appreciation? Do you know how easy this is for me? Do you have any fucking idea how easy this is? This is a fucking joke! And I'm sorry you can't do this, I really am because I wouldn't have to fucking sit here and watch you fumble around and fuck it up."

I just can't. I didn't know the name of it before, but as I've gone through this list, I've come to learn that" baroque Pop" is by far my least favorite genre of music. I used to just call it "Kate Bush style pretentious bullshit". I think this list for teaching me the name of the genre so I can avoid it at all costs.
Rated 8/10
This album makes me realize how cold and dead my heart is. 30 years ago. I would have absolutely loved this and probably cried. Today I'm just " Yeah it's alright"
Rated 10/10
A masterpiece of raw exposed nerves and emotion.
Rated 6/10
Thin Lizzie is one of the coolest bands of all time. Definitely underrated in the rock world. On the other hand, nobody wants a double live album. Ever.
Rated 2/10
Oh no! The parodies are so spot on. I never imagined the reality could truly be so bad. So bad that it's hilarious at times. 'Remembering" and "Israel" almost didn't seem like they could be real.
Rated 8/10
I don't have anything bad to say about Elliott Smith. This album has a nice vibe. It's just not something I'm going to put on very often
Rated 10/10
I love Jack White like a little brother
Rated 10/10
5 star album for sure. But its only the 3rd or 4th best album by the Roots. How is it the only one on here?
Rated 6/10
The real monkees
Rated 4/10
There's a lot of hate for Eagles these days. After the first 2 songs I was ready to buck the trend and vehemently defend them. After the next 6 since songs I'm here to agree that they officially suck ass. "Chug All Night" pushes the limits of how bad a sign can be.
Rated 6/10
I'm sorry Lloyd Cole. I realize that it's not your fault some twat put you on this list. You're probably embarrassed by it. Because I'm sure you can name 50 other albums and artists more deserving of a spot on this list. I'll give you a three because it's not your fault.
Rated 8/10
The 2nd time I've been surprisingly impressed by The Fall on this list.
