2nd primal scream album in 2 weeks? First track was trying too hard to be Oasis. The rest was nice, but not outstanding.

Never heard of them or this album, but it's crazy that seems to predate pop punk by a decade+. Pretty enjoyable, cleaner punk. 4*

Wow, this is the lowest rated albums on here. Not looking forward to it. It's another case of "this is the first of a genre, so it must be on this list." Just because you CAN make something doesn't mean you should, or that it should be recommended to you 50 years later. I will tolerate this nonsense out of composers, not this. 1*
IBM: I was inside of my modem
I usually will power through all the garbage here, but this time I can't. I stopped at the start of the 3rd track. I just can't. My ears don't deserve this.

What a kind introduction. Is this the same dude that did some of the songs in new vegas? Nice voice, not my genre, but still very soothing.
I hate the phrase "honky tonk angel."
Not sure it stood the test of time, lots of better albums out there, but it's ok. 3*

Going into this, I already like sweet dreams. The rest was very meh and better left in the 80s.
The opening track has some grunting in the background, very distracting. WTF was this is the house?
3*
Highlights: sweet dreams

Love sympathy for the devil, and works great as an opener. I'm always surprised the Stones are more blues-y than I expect. This was alright, 4*

Jesus christ, how much Steely Dan does this list need? Dad rock, soft rock, doesn't hold up, bland, made me grumpy. 2*
Rated 4/10
Idk, felt kind of bland to me. Definitely would have been better if it got trimmed down. 2*
Rated 10/10
Wow, this is very highly rated on here for something I'd never heard of before.
This flows, foot was tapping, head was bopping. What a great find. 5*

Now, this is an album I should listen to before dying. Never heard Elvis's first. It may be mostly white-washed covers (as things were back then), but you can hear his energy and voice off the bat. All that said, a mid album, 3*
Highlights: blue suede shoes, i got a woman
Rated 6/10
Nice but not overachieving voice. Nice and laid back, but not mind-blowing. 3*
Highlights: strong enough
Rated 6/10
Not familiar with this album. Very 70s disco funk. Easy to listen to and less poppy than his 80s stuff. A little cheesy. Back half not as good as front.
Highlights: don't stop till you get enough, rock with you
Rated 10/10
This album is so nostalgic to me; countless hours spent listening to this after school while playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. Knew it end to end.
Two years ago I got to see their 20th anniversary tour of this album, and being at the barricade, was one of the best concert experiences of my life.
This many years later, the Bush era criticisms are maybe dated but still valid. What a banger of a concept album.
The singles from this got tired from all the air time for me, but the whole album is so good.
Highlights: letterbomb, homecoming, jesus of suburbia (those transitions go so hard), st jimmy (the energy!)
Being an eagle sounds pretty freaking badass,
I was enjoying the guitar, but then this dude talk-sings, and I'm just not a fan of that style, in general. This is fine, could have gone on not listening. 2*

Mind blown - never heard Bjork outside her solo work. This was pretty wild, and not as bad as I expected for the most part. 3*
Rated 4/10
Ever since the super bowl last year, I've started to appreciate Kendrick more, and I'm not really a rap listener. Being honest, I usually don't listen for lyrics, just vibes, especially on first listen.
This was fine, nothing jumped out to me, 2*
Rated 4/10
Nice voice and production, but boring to me. Kinda bland R&B. 2*
Rated 6/10
A very 80s synthwave album. This is playing as I'm walking around the mall with my mom back in 1st grade. Chill, I can't imagine an entire concert of this type of music though. 3*
Fun cover of where the streets have no name (what I call "the old lady medley")
Rated 6/10
Spacey music with whispy vocals. Ok, but I'm not fully into it. 3*
Ravenspoint was annoying af

Oh hell yes, the xx were so fresh to my ears when I first listened to them. Alternative, but good beats. I now notice the minimalism, and I still really like this. 4* from this alt-loving millenial. Back half is a little too mellow for me now.
