That was a lot of fun! I of course knew "le freak", but the rest of the album was great too.

It's wonderful listening to one of the greats for the first time. This album just flew by for me. I might have to listen again just to get the full impact.

A great 90s dance album. I like how a lot of the songs are different, not the same thing over and over again. Although, towards the end of the album I liked it less. Just be careful with the album cover if you're listening to this at work.

Not really a fan of the song about the anger issues guy that shot a lady because she tried to take his horse.
I was kinda bored through the whole album.
Rated 6/10
Really good album. Not sure about the last song, but maybe it will grow on me. I'm surprised I never came across this group before.

I have fond memories of listening to music in the car with my dad when I was a young child in the 90s. Nirvanna is one of the first bands that comes to mind when I think of it. Listening to this album, I'm realizing that I think he would skip songs he didn't like, like ones with screaming. I thought I was going to like this album a lot more than I do. It's much harder/heavier than I thought it was going to be. I think I might be a greatest hits girl for this band. I gotta be honest, I only liked the radio songs and a couple of others.
This album is phenomenal. I couldn't sit still in my chair. I felt like I was transported back to the 1950s. Sometimes live albums aren't the best, but the fact that this one is live adds to the atmosphere and energy of the whole album. The cheering of the crowd made me wish there was "more" too.

Kendrick Lamar two days in a row was a little challenging, but he's pretty good. Happy Black History Month!

I like the music. I like the beats. I like the way his voice sounds and how he sings or says things. I just don't really care for what he's singing about. Some catchy songs.

Mysterious Ways has always been one of my top five favourite U2 songs. I used to LOVE U2. I saw them in concert twice around the Vertigo time period. Then I got sick of them and the only thing I could think of was people being mad that they automatically added their album to iTunes.
This album introduced me to some songs I have never heard. I especially liked So Cruel.

They are very good musicians, but I was a little bored throughout the album. Got excited when The Weight came on, but there were only a couple of other songs that stood out to me. Cool album cover though.

This challenge has me slowly whittling down the type of indie music that I actually like. Throw "folk" and "psychedelic" descriptors in there and I think it's for me.
Rated 4/10
I've never been a fan of Coldplay, but I thought I should give this album a fair chance. His voice and the music are beautiful. It's just too melancholic for my taste.
Rated 8/10
Perfect for the days when you just need to hear a whispery French man and a sexy-sounding lady saying her own name once in a while.
...okay so after reading the reviews, apparently the "lady" is actually an underage girl, ugh. Very disappointing.
Rated 4/10
His voice sounds like he's going to croak at any moment. I like some of the instrumentals.

I have learned that The Who are much more than just their CSI: Crime Scene Investigation theme songs. It's funny though, the first thing I thought when I looked at the album cover was that the blond guy looked like the Greg Sanders character from the original CSI (before even thinking about the theme song connection).

It feels like everybody loves her, but I think her voice is kind of shrill.
Rated 8/10
When I first looked at the song list for this album, I thought I didn't know most of the songs. Once I started listening, I realized that I knew the songs, just never knew the names of them. Great album.
Rated 6/10
I was more familiar with Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel as solo artists and never really came across Genesis music. I was surprised by their sound when the album started. The first song was a lot heavier than I was expecting. As the album progressed, it settled into more of what I'm used to and started becoming repetitive, which was a little disappointing. The instrumentation on this album is beautiful though.
Rated 10/10
This was glorious perfection.
