Deadly psych. I was vaguely familiar with this, but never listened properly. It fucking rules. A concept album about..... something, whatever. The guitars are heavy and clanging. Songs stop and start on a whim. Yep, fucking brilliant.

It's a classic for a reason. Kurt Cobain wrote some fucking brilliant melodies and Dave and Krist played the shit out of them. The production is huge and shiny. No filler. Great cover art.

I like it. It's a bit doof, doof, doof in parts but there's a sense of creativity here. They're taking influences from different parts of black culture and merging things together. Listenable.

Not good. I don't believe in any of the emotions here. This is not my experience of love. The only saving grace is that Adele's voice can be pleasant.

I have to be in a certain mood for something so long and brooding, but when I am this can be pretty special.

This took me by surprise. I didn't enjoy Psychocandy. Too much feedback. This was really fucking cool. Like movie star in a leather jacket, smoking cigarettes cool. Such a simple sound but that's the secret. Rock n roll should not be complicated.

I really don't like Pet Shop Boys. Too poppy, too artificial with their sounds and I don't like most of the songs. I can't quite bring myself to give this 1 star, but it's very close.

Enjoyed this. A lot of fun. It's got a huge hit, I love the warm production with all the acoustic guitars and the cover art is cool.

There's a lot here. Lots of very solid songwriting and heart. That counts for a lot. This is not Springsteen's best but it is still a good album. No more, no less.

This has been a very reliable friend to me for nearly 30 years. Never lets me down. So many great songs that have passed the test of time. I love it.

Cosy, easy listen. I don't consider this to be their best work, but I can relax while listening to it. It could do with a bit more edge, but I suppose that's not what they're aiming for.
