Do I even have to say anything about this? I think the sales are enough of an argument as to why this is on the list. This is probably the best album of all time! It's just packed with hits, it takes you through all of the emotions, it's accesible for everyone and it's loved by everyone. Also, you can find so many genres in it, this being one of the reasons it's loved by everyone. But again, I don't think I need to give any explanations really. It's a 10/10 record and it will always be.

This definitely deserves to be on this list, compared to the other Elvis picks. I still don't love it, as this is not my favourite rock n roll thing, but I liked listening to it. I appreciate it for what it is and the influence it had on music in general.

I love Jamiroquai, so this review might be a bit biased. But goddamn this is good! I would say that Travelling Without Moving deserves a spot on the list more than this one, but it's still absolutely amazing. Just a groovy, infectious and feel good record. Also, if you are musically inclined, you see this from a different perspective. It's incredible from a musician's pov. A lot of interesting intervals and chord progressions that have a jazzy feeling to them, beautiful vocal lines, and also the intricate bass lines and the drum grooves that work together perfectly. It's just so freaking good, and it manages to be commercial while being very complicated from a musical standpoint.

I understand why many people on here hate this. They most likely don't like metal, which is absolutely fine. But I do, and this is my favourite from Slipknot! I love the agression, the angst and the rawness of this record. You can't deny that you absolutely need to have this genre represented on this list, and this is one of the best nu metal records ever. Many would argue that Iowa is their best, but I think that this is. This spawned a whole new generation of metalheads all over the globe, and it gave a voice to all of the crazy pissed off children in the world.

I love this retro style in modern times, because it just has such a great vibe overall! I never heard of Michael Kiwanuka, but this record was amazing. I am a huge fan of Black Pumas (I really think their debut album should be included on this list), and this one is very reminiscent of that, but it's its own thing as well. I loved it really, it was a beautiful experience. Smooth vocals, great instrumentation and compositions, just so good overall.

I liked this more than I thought I would. It's very hippie, but the arrangements are done pretty well.

I wasn't expecting to see post rock on this list, but it definitely needed to be included as a genre, and this pick is one of the most deserving ones. Beautiful album, from start to finish! Extremely good soundscape, atmosphere and instrumentation. It made me feel very relaxed and at peace. Most definitely a very interesting band and very different from the other things on here. They are their own thing. I am sure many people will find this boring and pretentious, but if you really appreciate the musicality and the overall sound design, you will get why this is incredible.

This one is pretty bluesy, but it has some rocking moments as well. I enjoyed it a lot but it's still not the best by them. However, it's pretty hard not to enioy something when Robert Plant sings.

I'm used to more interesting stuff from Frank Zappa. This ain't it. I didn't like it. I like the artwork though. I imagine he wrote this as some kind of diss to The Beatles? At least the artwork. But that doesn't justify the fact that it's a bad record.

I think that this album was one of the main reasons why pop metal emerged in the 80s. Yeah, it's pretty cheesy, but the songs are catchy and fun. I liked some of their songs when I was a kid because it was so catchy. And I also like the riffs Phil Collen wrote on this because they are catchy. I don't know if I mentioned that this is catchy.
But really though, it's very good. It's hard to write songs like this because of the complexity of simplicity.

It sounds like a bad musical. His voice is ok, but the compositions were generic and that's all. Why do I need some more music from the 60s that sounds like the other albums from the 60s?
