Beach Boys on even more estrogen
These lot were better than the Beach Boys in all fairness

Despite there being not a great deal of difference between this and their other album on here, I really did not like this one. It's depressing, but in the way that makes it sound dreary and pathetic. Pills 'n' Thrills had that upbeat sound to it that made it much better to listen too. The bass was better in that record too.
Rated 8/10
High 4, love this sort of stuff. The first half was much better than the last, although every part of this was good regardless.
Rated 4/10
They are good singers, so I feel I can't really give it a 1, but fucking hell was that boring to listen to. No distinguishable moments since it all blurred into one, not a single instrument used. Very generous 2

mid
Rated 6/10
The sleazy synth does have it's moments and there is a time for it, but it got boring around half way through, especially with that album length
Rated 6/10
Talent-wise it's very good, he's a good singer. But soul and 90s production makes me feel a bit sick tbh
Rated 6/10
Bit weirder than their other album on here, but I did enjoy bits and pieces of it
Rated 8/10
Some really solid punk rock. Love the vocals too, they're what punk rock should be about
Rated 6/10
I liked the overall grungy tone of it, but nothing really stood out to me. I can't really think of an exact part that I particularly found outstanding
Rated 10/10
One of the greatest trip-hop albums ever.
Rated 6/10
It's smooth enough and pleasant to listen to, but every song sounds the same
Rated 4/10
Opening track was good, everything else was painstakingly average
Rated 6/10
Considerably better than their other album on here, much more engaging, at least until the last few songs. It did feel a bit like a poor man's Beatles at a few points, and the guy's vocals still aren't anything great.
The album was somewhat good, but it felt like a slightly flat Public Enemy
The beats were uninteresting a lot of the time, and the rapping was ok but nothing special. Some of the verses I enjoyed, it's a shame they can't write a chorus for shit. They think repeating the title of the song passes for one
I did enjoy their take on California Uber Alles though that was fun
Rated 4/10
I feel like I've had this album 30 times before
Magic Hollow was a good song though
Rated 4/10
Inoffensive yet somehow simultaneously dreary
Rated 2/10
Worse than Big Yahu
Rated 2/10
The first song was pretty decent, but after that it devolved into some of the most annoying britpop I've ever heard, which is quite the achievement
Rated 8/10
I had never heard of Isaac Hayes before, and I'm quite ashamed that was the case. Bloke is the epitome of smooth. Would not be surprised if he invented that word too.
Highlight of the album was easily One Woman. What a fucking song that is holy shit.
The album loves to meander though. I was thinking about giving it a 3 because of the extent of the meandering. That 8+ minute intro to the final song was also too excessive. However, I think because of how smooth it is and how good the non-meandery bits were I can give it a 4. There will be times where I can play this in the background.
