I'm not sure whether any of the songs stand out on their own, but the album overall felt fresh and well composed. I would actually say that it's a great listen, and I would recommend it. On the upper border of a three star album for me, might give it a four anyways.

Okay, I'm two songs in and I get it. This guy was doing great lo-fi hip-hop and sampling in 2005. It's good, it was so fresh at the time. Alright, never mind, the lo-fi was just one song. But he's doing some cool sampling and mixing throughout the album.

I'm not really sure what I'm listening to. Is this a satire album on its era of pop? Is it genuine, or is it being ironic? I don't know, but for me it's not really doing much more than sounding distinct and pretty inoffensive.

It's hard to not rate highly an album with 4 absolute bangers. Hells Bells, Shoot to Thrill, Back In Black, You Shook Me All Night Long? All certified classic bangers. Truly a great album of classic rock.

Alright, I was a little reluctant about this one. The first dinosaur jr. album that I heard through this was not my jam. But a few songs in and I'm really digging this. It's pretty metal, and post punk. Good heavy riffs, but with an indie rock style vocals.

It felt like early post punk rock music. It has a pioneering aspect to it's sound. Musical history relevance more so than a great listen, for me.

This album is phenomenal. I love it. Instant connection for me. I can't believe this was 1978, I mean the remaster makes it sound incredible. That's the beauty of analog synths, they can still be remastered and they'll sound incredible. the composition is also pretty captivating here, it's great focus music.

Honestly, as a big fan of Led Zeppelin, I think this album is not their best work. It's totally skippable in the grand scheme of things. Kashmir is a good song, but the rest of the album is quite forgettable.

It's nice to have a couple of Indie rock albums in a row. Indie rock was so much of what I listened to in college. So it has a strong nostalgia value for me, but it's also great. This album is musically complex, lyrically invocative, and easy to listen to. I've also come to realize that starting strong is huge for my opinion of an album. Kicking this off with The Suburbs and Ready to Start really sets the bar high.

It was indeed English Folk Rock. Who cannot relate to this genre? I suspect very many people. I'm just having a laugh. Nothing stood out to me until the very last song. It had a moment of musical darkness that felt very expressive. Other than that, I was non-plussed. Maybe I should have actively listened to the whole album.

I had listened to two weeks before and loved it, but never really checked out the whole album. It was a good listen.

A strong opening with Turn to Stone, ELO has an awesome and totally distinct sound. Sweet talking woman, a banger. Mr. Blue Sky? One of the most iconic songs ever. How could one dislike this album?

I have an appreciation for Hindi music already, so I really enjoyed this album. It's cool, it's got classic sounds, and it's not completely self serious. Kind of wild that a movie soundtrack went so hard, but only in Bollywood I suppose.

Beautiful Freakeels

I don't recognize the band by its name, but the songs and sound feel very familiar. I'd call this peak grunge and a worthy inclusion.
