Meh... there are some good songs, but it's not really my kind of music

The Kinks are a band that always sound great and never disappoint; the problem for me is that, aside from their big hits, everything else sounds like the Beatles to me... and between the Kinks and the Beatles, I definitely prefer the latter!
Rated 4/10
When I first heard it, I didn’t even think it was that bad - just another one of those trippy hippie things from the ’60s.
Today, a day later, as I’m voting, I don’t even remember exactly what I heard - in other words, just another one of those albums that, IMHO, is by no means something you have to hear before you die.
But since there are worse ones on this list - much worse ones - I’ll give it a 2, and move on to the next one!

Astor Piazzola is to Argentina what Carlos Paredes is to Portugal! They are indispensable figures in their respective arts; one can never deny that they represent nothing less than the absolute pinnacle of genius and mastery in their craft.
Rated 4/10
The truth is, listening to a lot of Elvis Costello gets really boring. Next!
More '60s hippies - I could have done without this! And it's a letdown, since it starts off really well, but aside from the song “You're Gonna Miss Me,” nothing else really grabs my interest :-(
Rated 4/10
This album is by no means a must-have! It’s yet another one that makes you wonder why it’s on this list - at least it’s not country, so that’s something :-(
Rated 2/10
Fuck this shit, not listening to any other country album, fuck it! Go fuck yourselfs, you fucking country westerners pieces of shit
In my mind I'm giving this a round zeroooooooooooooo
Rated 6/10
Don't get me wrong, I like Suede - I think they have some really good songs - but after 4 or 5 songs, I just can't stand this guy's voice anymore! Man, even my ears are bleeding :-(
Rated 10/10
A real surprise, in the sense that I knew loads about this album but had never known, or even imagined, who was behind it. Conclusion: I set out to find out more and only today did I learn that Tina was the bassist for the Talking Heads; that this was a side project; and that in both cases, she, her husband and a few friends earned the highest praise from their peers and enjoyed great success.
Of course, now that I know all this, and having thoroughly enjoyed revisiting these tracks, I can’t give it anything other than a resounding 5/5.
They’re true all-time classics. Good choice, sir; in all honesty, it’s an album that deserves to be on this list :-)
A 4; I fully understand that it made its mark and was significant at the time, but I found it a bit mundane now! However, I loved “Yes Sir, No Sir,” “Sangri-La,” and a few other tracks - a truly respectable album, but one that, for me, won’t get more than a 4 today
And it’s one more on the list for that question: “Is it really essential to listen to this before I die?” I confess that, in this case, I’m torn :-(
But it’s perfect for clearing my ears of all the crap I’ve heard here. Thank goodness for that :-)

I didn't listen to this when it was playing on the radio back when I was a teenager in the '80s, so why would I listen to it now? Music to listen to before I die? Not a chance, man, not a chance
Absolutely disposable. Still, a 2 (because there's worse on this list - oh boy, there sure is!)

What's not to like about this album?
This is one of those must-have albums - 10/10
Rated 10/10
Absolutely loved this album. Keep in it as a favorite ;-)

It's New Order, it's witnessing their evolution after Ian Curtis and Joy Division and it's witnessing what they will become. Loved to listen to this
Easy 5/5
Rated 6/10
Our House takes the points, all the rest had it's time, I guess
Rated 8/10
It's good electronic music, the kind I like. I really liked this album.
F**k this. There’s way too much country on this list—no one in this world should have to listen to more than a (very) few songs of this genre before they die.
To me, country is just another genre of music that makes you want to die if you have to listen to it—in fact, I’ve actually thought about shooting myself while listening to this! Luckily for me, there aren’t as many guns in my country as there are in the U.S.
F**k it

Despite her voice and whatever talent she may have, and despite the songs and the music, she’s just another one of those artists I could easily do without listening to. I don’t know - after more than two years of following this project, I’m really starting to question the purpose of this list more and more; and it deeply bothers me to listen to so many albums that, in my very humble opinion, aren’t essential albums that anyone should hear before they die :-(
And, to wrap things up, I have to say once again: country music really, REALLY isn't my thing :-(
