Dull, generic 70s rock.
I strggled to care to decide whether the sax in ‘Dont let me down’ lifts the mood up. It doesn’t, it just sounds dated.
I imagine they though Seagull, they thought they were capturing Led Zeppelin et al, they were not
This feels like what AI would create if i asked for a bog standard rock album. Move along, nothing to see here

Rated 4/10

I have previously enjoyed 15 seasons of the TV Show Supernatural, so I can't hear things like this and not picture a Winchester driving an Impala down a random US highway. This despite Bad Company being British.

This mostly passed me by, with very little that made it stand out to me in any way. The only real thought I had while listening was that I don't think I previously realised how few lyrics the song Can Get Enough has.

It's just not very interesting to me. It should get a 1.5, but as I don't find it terrible, just boring, it's getting a:

2/5

Rated 6/10

Decent rock album

Apple describes this as "no-nonsense" and I think that's about right. I found it uninteresting but inoffensive.

Rated 6/10

This was totally listenable to and fine. Had a little dance around, was a good length, no awful songs. Really nothing revolutionary, but good!

Rated 2/10

Yuck. Do not like. Extremely corny cock rock for beer swilling teenagers, not really much of a lasting influence, were made irrelevant by punk within a few years of their existence. It felt like a classic rock radio station stuck on repeat. I will never listen to this again.

Rated 4/10

Bad Company? More like completely forgettable company. Gottem. Bet they'll care about that anonymous zinger.

Again, there's not much I can tell here other than that it was -perfectly fine-. But the flip side of that coin is that it also wasn't much to write home about. The lyrics are all about hankering after a woman, and the guitars are your general rock n' roll that you've heard a hundred times by now. If you skip this album, you're not missing out.

Rated 10/10

One Two, One Two Three Brrrggmmm and we are right into one of my favourite albums. Supergroups can sometimes be a bit entitled but here you have Paul Rogers incredible vocals and Mick Ralphs steaming guitar joining together to be melodic and hard. Radio friendly this is the very definition of Classic.

Rated 2/10

Bad Company are a skilled band who clearly know how to perform but I find listening to their compositions like wading through sludge. It's dreadfully boring and takes a long time. I was never going to be won over by a series of slowly unfurling blues tinged hard rock songs, so they never stood a chance really but I’ve heard others do it better.

Rated 8/10

Way more hits by this band than I realized

Rated 10/10

I’d heard of Bad Company at the latest through Halestorm’s reference to them, but I can’t recall hearing a full album of theirs.
Their debut kicks off with a bang with “Can’t Get Enough” and doesn’t lose much momentum after that. In addition to the sound—which was extremely clear for its time—and the relatively prominent bass, I particularly like Paul Rodgers’ voice. To me, it sounds a bit like Eric Martin, and in other ways, Bad Company reminds me of Mr. Big, who were among my absolute favorites for years—which in turn proves Bad Company’s influence.
In summary, this is an album you have to hear, and I’m grateful to have had this experience today. This is how ’70s hard rock should sound!

Rated 6/10

A completely insignificant album. It didn't get on my nerves, but I also forgot about it immediately. 3/5

Rated 2/10

Eh?

Rated 4/10

One of the daddiest of the dad rocks - is there a driving album in the world that doesn't include "Can't Get Enough". Never fully understood the "super group" billing, and Rodgers voice kinda grates.

It's perfectly acceptable of course, but hardly a stand-out in a pretty crowded field. Probably a 3 in its own right, but I'm deducting a star for the general bafflement that it's included here.

Rated 6/10

A perfectly cromulent album. There's nothing exciting about this, and nothing bad about it. The needle sits perfectly in the middle. Not a single fist pump or foot tap from me, but I also never thought it was anything other than well played and well put together.

Rated 6/10

Pretty fun listen. I'm familiar with the hits but this was a great album to get ready for and drive to work to this morning. Quite motivating. Some of it was a little samey dad-rock but overall a decent listen.

Rated 4/10

generic dad rock with ok vocals
