I don't need to hear this ever again. Or even really for a first time.

I'm happy to borrow from another review because it reflects my feeling entirely...

Sonically awesome. But I'm happy just to listen the once.

Rated 6/10

*Interesting concept with the carnival music turning into the industrial sound.
*Glad I listened once but probably won't return again.

I like me some gruff FRENCH. I honestly went in thinking I'd not have a good time with it, but I had a blast. The circus, honky tonk music sometimes pulled me out the enjoyment though.

I had never heard of this one, but as of today it's the 13th worst rated album on the list. I kind of like when these come up because sometimes I find great things that I feel get undue hate.
One song in and I think that might be the case with this one. Really interesting. I would imagine a lot of people give it a low score right off the bat because it's in French. I think that makes it better. I speak just enough French to know that English would have sounded weird for this record.
A few more songs in and I'm still loving it. I've never heard anything quite like it before, I think it really accomplishes what it set out to do - be something new in a music industry that was incredibly stagnant.
It's inventive, it's heavy, it's raw, it's industrial, it's built well. Vocals are shit in the best way. This is an amazing example of why this list is so much fun. I never would have found this on my own and really like it. I can't imagine I'll ever be able to find this on vinyl but it's going on the list to search for.
As a side note, I love the guy that said this is French Tom Waits if he scored a low budget slasher film, and then gave 1 star. First off, they're Swiss. Secondly, that sounds amazing. I can imagine his and my likes would be very different....

Bonnet de douche Rodney, bonne de douche...........

This sounds like the fictional score to a French cyberpunk dystopia movie.

And I don't like it very much at all. Pretty shit, actually

This is a uniquely fantastic take on industrial. Had never heard this before. Thanks generator!

Rated 6/10

Different. Sounded a bit too much like just noise to get a great review. I thought I would give it a two on my first listen, but I enjoyed it more my second time through.

Rated 8/10

WTF, this is really cool. The rating on here really isn't justified. This is some bizarre combination of French and industrial rock that seems to blend really well. There is nothing I've heard that is similar to this, for better or worse. I really enjoyed just how bizarre and fun this entire thing was. French and rock mix like oil and water but the contrast works really well here.

I expected to hate this, but after the second listen was quite enjoying it. I've loved NIN for a long time, and always wanted to find some other Industrial Rock to listen to, but never came across this band. I'd say this had some sort of influence on Trent Reznor and various other hard rock acts of the 90s.

The Young Gods L'Eau Rouge
After my initial whosdat I decided to listen without looking them up. I imagined them to be some French electronic types from 2015+. They are in fact an 80s band from Switzerland and apparently used lots of effective sampling which influenced people like David Bowie WOW, not sure if you can hear my sarcasm where you are, because while they may have influenced Bowie, he would never have made an album this bad – so he obviously took the good elements and made them into something unique.
For its part this album sounded just dark and had elements of carnival music that has been used to such great effect by the Doors but here just didn’t work. It was just loop after loop of boring noise.

Treś Reznor review: 5 stars

Rated 2/10

Worse than Coldplay

Rated 6/10

Wild! Really enjoyed from the start but it slightly wore thin towards the end. But the string sampling and technical effects were fantastic

Rated 2/10

Why do French guys always growl when they attempt to sing? I was going to give this a 2 until I read the band's Spotify bio and realised they think they're much more important than they are.

Rated 1/10

Title track almost drove me to give up. But I persisted and ... hated the rest just as much. Singer's voice is unlistenable to me.

Rated 4/10

I'm just not the French Industrial rock typa dude you know?

Rated 4/10

Heavy menacing riffs, hard hitting industrial drums, growling guttural throat shredding vocals, some mathy proggy bits. The bits where it all comes together really rip, but there's a lot of it that doesn't that's kind of dull, not enough tension or dynamism, all the menace but without the threat - ruins the suspension of disbelief and it all becomes a bit rediculous and laughable (les enfants, lol).
