While it got a little repetitive later on, there are some really awesome grooves here. Favorite track: E-Pro

Some absolute all time alt punk bangers on here, but there are too many immediately forgettable tracks for me to consider it anything more than a good solid effort. Favorite track: Longview

The best live rock album ever in my opinion. The energy is off the charts. Pete is absolutely ripping his guitar shreds and Keith Moon gives a pummeling and ferocious performance on drums. Wonderful stuff. Favorite track: Young Man Blues

Ethereal, angelic vocal harmonies that sometimes sound Beach Boy-esque. Listening to this album is like lying in a field of flowers on a breezy summer day. Favorite track: My Girls

Stellar debut. Really flows well and the melodies really keep you engaged. Favorite track: Pilgrimage

One of the weaker of the initial Wu Tang solo albums in my opinion, but it's still really good which speaks to how amazing the collective clan is. Favorite track: Bring the Pain

If you ever need an example of how a guitar can convey emotion, look no further than the title track to this album. Eddie Hazel is a virtuoso. Favorite track: Maggot Brain

Good British punk. Not great, but has it's moments. Favorite track: Gary Gilmore's Eyes

One of the first records I ever loved. Beautiful vocal harmonies and outstanding riffs. Favorite track: Down in a Hole

Everything I've ever heard from Gang Starr is, at worst, better than average. This album was no exception. Excellent flows over dope production. Favorite track: Step in the Arena

So there's are a few really good songs but the rest are stinkers. Overall more stinkers than not. Favorite track: Time After Time

Absolutely gorgeous collection of Christmas classics. Throw this on and brighten any holiday party. Favorite track: Sleigh Ride

Really eclectic stuff. I didn't care as much for the sitar Norwegian Wood-esque stuff but for the most part I enjoyed it. Favorite track: Season of the Witch

As much alt rock as I listened to in the 90's it's pretty amazing that I never heard of this until now. Good stuff. Favorite track: Thalassocracy

Grooves in abundance, with a bit of psych thrown in. I love it. Favorite track: Bang a Gong (Get It On)

Sonic Youth rocks. In other news, water is wet. Favorite track: Stereo Sanctity

Some absolute bangers, but there are a couple tracks I could do without. Overall an amazing debut album. Favorite track: Good Times Bad Times

Short and sweet. What an outstanding and gorgeous voice George had. Favorite track: Darlin'

Indie rock with a little funk thrown in. That funk helps it rise above the level of bog standard. Unfortunately it doesn't show up in every song. Favorite track: DLZ

Not as good as the Three E.P.'s but I still like quite a few songs on here. Favorite track: Assessment
