This surprised me—I've never listened to the Velvet Underground before but this is not what I was expecting. I had to resist the urge to listen in order because I assume the other albums will come up in the rotation eventually.

This was a groove, though it did drag at some points

What a voice! This one caught me by surprise.

I never listened to a full album by Elvis, just the songs my mom made me listen to! I can see why the kids (like her) loved him when he came out!
Rated 8/10
Amazing album! It really took me on a journey.
Rated 4/10
I can recognize the uniqueness and artistry involved but I just didn't enjoy listening.
Rated 8/10
Pretty enjoyable, I like how it mixed the upcoming pop sounds with rock music. Very cool, especially for 1980.

I'm sure this is classic, it's just not for me.

Some definite classics here!

I've of course heard of this album and heard Money many times, but never listened to the whole thing. This was a jam! It felt timeless and I really enjoyed it.

Very tantalizing, but I can't quite get into it. I do enjoy shoegaze but I think there's not quite enough for me to hook into here.
Rated 6/10
It's funny: I've heard songs from this album, but never connected them to her 2003 album (not that I heard anything besides the singles from that one either). I wouldn't have expected them to be the same artist, but I haven't paid enough attention before to notice. It's an interesting evolution. This album hits more squarely for me, with its clear early 90s sound.

Loved this album when it came out and I still do. Haven’t listened to it in years but I think it holds up well.
Rated 6/10
Great example of 80s pop music, and had some really unexpected musicality that I enjoyed.
Rated 10/10
Incredible and groundbreaking. Hard for me to describe this music but it’s atmospheric, haunting, beautiful, and classic.

I haven't heard much of her but Joni Mitchell has a very unique sound. It's not really for me but it is impressive and captivating.
I can't believe I've never heard this before! It's an incredible pop album, very of its time but also sounding unique. Some of the songs were not up to that level but overall I really enjoyed this album.

TV on the Radio is always fun to listen to. I enjoyed this album.

This is good old-fashioned early 90s alternative.

LCD Soundsystem has a very unique sound that is fun to come back to from time to time. I hadn't heard this album before but it's instantly recognizable.
