I remember finding this pretty dull back when it came out, and I was hoping that maybe with age I'd come to appreciate it more but sadly no dice. It's just kinda boring generic folk pop.

J-pop isn't really my thing but this was pleasant enough to listen to for it. I wouldn't mind if it was on in the background but I don't think I'd ever seek it out.

Really solid old school style hip-hop. The beats are super clean and the constant vocal swapping is really well done. I think it would benefit from some more unique sounding vocalists but otherwise it was really enjoyable.

An absolutely flawless mix of indie rock, shoegaze, and black metal. The album is simultaneously angry and beautiful. The art is so striking as well.

So dumb but so good. If I was going to pick one mashup artist to include it would be Girl Talk, but Cicierega would be number two for sure. These get stuck in your head so bad.

As a fan of electronic and indie music this was a pleasant listen. I don't think it blew me away or really did anything groundbreaking but it was fun.

YLT is a band I always mean to give more time than I have. Listening now really proves that I should. This album is such a vibe. I love how calm and meditative it is for most of it, but without losing its very strong pop sensibilities.

This definitely sounds like music that the guy from The Witcher would make, and not in a great way. The cover about sums up the vibe too. Just very cheesy over the top folk.

I'm honestly shocked that no Chuck Berry appears on the base list, considering his importance to the history of rock and roll. While this style of early 60s rock certainly isn't my main interest, there's no denying its historical importance and frankly just how fun it is.

Quite interesting. I can see why they made a musical out of this. It basically already is one honestly. The folk elements are really unique when combined with the musical aspects. I'm a big Bon Iver fan so his features were a highlight for me.

I've been meaning to listen to more Low and it definitely didn't disappoint. Slowcore is a really cool genre and Low are pretty much THE slowcore band and it's clear why.

I'm only a casual Ween fan but this is one of my favorite albums from them. I think the cleaner, more hi-fi sound really helps showcase their talent and it hops genres well without feeling as scatterbrained as some of their stuff.

I was expecting this to be more salsa or soul influenced but to my surprise it's very jazzy. I'm not complaining though as I really enjoyed that. There's even a bit of hip-hop influenced mixed in. Quite a cool mix of influences.

Such a weird combination that shouldn't work but somehow does perfectly. As a big metalhead and a casual jpop enjoyer I love this band. Some of their best songs are on this album too.

I've been trying to get more into jam music lately. I still haven't 100% gotten it to click but I'm enjoying it more and more. This was a pretty entertaining listen. Very funky and upbeat yet chill. The Ghostbusters song was a fun unexpected ending.

Solid progressive metal. It doesn't blow me away or anything but I dig it. There's some good quiet parts that balance out the heavier sections.
