Pretty solid psychedelic band with some catchy songs. If these guys had been more famous in lieu of several similar bands I wouldn't be upset in the least. Silly name.

This album was definitely unusual. It felt like an SNL comedy sketch at times and at others was charming. The lyrical compositions was pretty rudimentary and odd. It is hard to put my finger on exactly why it didn't work for me as an assemblage of traits? It just felt off-beat by one the whole time. Out of phase. So close to being something really special but because of that I actually found it pretty frustrating to listen to. I was glad that it was a fairly trim album in terms of length. I wish this was the album it could've been and I don't know what would fix it but I get a whiff of something real cool in the mix.

This was a fun van Halen album by Van Halen. It had soaring locks and vocals. I was doing dishes. I cleaned half of my house. Not too shabby.

Not the best album from them by far. Definitely the most dungeons and dragons album by them.

I put this band in the same category as Wolfmother. They do a serviceable job aping a couple of things that were cool a long time ago and have sort of stirred them together. If you like that flavor then it's great. If not, it's worse than the sum of its parts. For me, country-fried and classic rock are fine but KoL kind of smears them into a brown paste I can't get behind. I will say that this album was much better than anything I'd heard from them prior and less product-feeling. More earnest. Points for that.

Fun and weird B-sides. Not sure, if I was a fairly successful band, if I would have released this. Not sure why this list includes so many similar pastiche albums. I feel like folks think the concept is more novel and rare than it actually is and so they give it more heft and credence when considering it? This was fine and certainly was at least blessedly short on a track by track basis. I can hang with this for the 42 minute runtime. There was pretty fair variation as well.

Not a one of these songs needed to escape the production studio. All of them are the diarrheal dribbling of a staged comeback from a boy-band percentile claiming a relevance via the backing of significant marketing.

Robbie is talented and has used that significant talent to no avail. I enjoyed none of this. I tried. Even approaching it with my pop hat on I can only say it was well crafted slop, devoid of heft.

Among the finest jazz albums I've ever listened to. Every track is a gem. I don't think, even if this isn't your kind of music, that there is a note out of place. When I chuck out a 5-star (and this is just for me) I typically do it because the album is perfect in its vein. This is a perfect smooth jazz album. It wouldn't be a perfect boss-brass or old-school boom-bap album. It is a reaaallly bad country album. Damn it is a tasty jazz album though.
