There were definitely a lot of note combinations I had never heard before. Most of the songs felt like three people had decided on the theme of the song then gone and written separately and only synched rythms. Thematically it worked well. Sonicly not so much.

Huh. I didn't realize the complete lack of joy was why I didn't care for most of Depeche Mode. I really liked this one.

lots of songs were lots of fun, but none of them stood out to me as instant classics like Melancholy Hill, Dare, or Feel Good Inc.

Nice little understated sonic landscape. Don't know that it belongs in the annals of the greats but I wouldn't mind another listen

I don't understand why the self titled album was on the list over Toxicity, THE System Of A Down album. Both belong on the list.

The vocals are okay, and the melodies don't break with convention, but they are extremely well executed and the lyrics add all the novelty I could ever want.

Rated 10/10

No Sound is so arresting that I gave the album another chance. I don't know that I enjoyed any of the other tracks as much, but I returned several times.

Certainly better than most country, still just not my thing, except Universal Sound, that tracks incredible.

Lets be real, this was the soundtrack of the decade. I am too familiar and too biased to say if it actually holds up. I can only say I love it

The first song made me think I would hate these wanna be cowboys but the second disabused me of that idea, why do these canadian alt rockers all have so much sonic diversity and homely whimsey? Nothing Earth shattering, but all well done and fun
