I've never been a big fan or connoiseur of funk music. So, even if I understand this is pretty good and musicians are very good, I was not terribly excited about it. In any case, the album is indeed very good (and, interestingly, not as "disco-funk" as I thought). I really enjoyed some of the songs, which, all things being said, tend to be too long.
In particular, I enjoyed the end section of "Groovallegiance" (nice guitars), "Who Says a Funk Band Can't Play Rock?", or "Promentals..." (too long though).
Interestingly, I enjoyed all three songs in the EP more than I did with any of the songs of the main album. So, I really liked "Lunchmeataphobia", "P.E. Squad...", and "Maggot Brain" (my favourite track in the whole "album").
It's in the range of 3 (without the EP) or 4 stars (if the EP is included) for me.

I had already listened to this album, although I'm not a huge Hendrix fan (at least, not until now). I think "Spanish Castle Magic", "Castles Made of Sand" and, especially, "Little Wing" (greatest guitar intro ever?) are very good. I also enjoyed "Up From The Skies" (especially the lyrics), "Wait Until Tomorrow", "One Rainy Wish", or "Bold as Love". This is a solid 4 star album for me. Actually, 5 stars are not completely out of the conversation.

Very interesting. It seems to be between prog and jazz. I think this deserves at least 3 stars. I particularly enjoyed the last track ("Out-Bloody-Rageous") and "Slightly All The Time" (probably the most "conventional" track among the four).

I was not familiar with the music of Massive Attack. I found this one pretty good (even if it's not my favourite style). I liked "Safe From Harm", "Be Thankful For What You've Got" or "Unfinished Sympathy" (probably my favourite). It's between 3 and 4 stars for me.

I've never been a fan of Supertramp (or prog-rock in general). So, even if I this may be objectively pretty good, I just can't seem to connect with this album (not even with the very popular "Dreamer"). My favourite track is "Rudy". I also liked "Crime of the Century".
Overall, I think this album is in my 3 stars range (but mostly because of those two songs).

Good album. Very interesting. I enjoyed the cover "Summertime Blues" (probably my favourite track), "Doctor Please" or "Second Time Around" . It's in the range between 3 and 4 stars for me. And, in any case, I think it really deserves to be included in this project.

Very good album. Second Rush album in this project. Previous one (2112) was also very good (between 4 and 5 stars). I'm not a huge fan of the voice, but I really love the instrumentals. Overall, I enjoyed most songs, especially, "YYZ", "The Camera Eye", or "Red Barchetta". This may be 5 stars if not for the last two songs (which, in any case, are still pretty good) and the vocals.

Very good album. Much better, interesting and varied than I expected. I was familiar with some of Alice Cooper's hits (I've even seen him live). But, this took me by surprise. 4 stars (may need to revise in the future).
Ok, I did listen to this again...and it's a 5 star for me. I really liked the three last tracks: "Public Animal No. 9", "Alma Mater", and the instrumental "Grand Finale".

Tom Waits (90s era) is not for the faint-hearted. I was already familiar with the album and I think this is actually a very good album. And, definitely, an interesting one. May reach 5 stars if a bit shorter. Songs I particularly enjoy: "Dirt in the Ground", "Who Are You", "In The Colosseum", "Going'Out West" (probably my favourite), "Black Wings", "Whistle Down The Wind", or "I Don't Wanna Grow Up",

It's interesting. The thing I liked the most is the Orion sample (in, "The Number Song"). The track "Stem/Long Stem - Medley" is probably my favourite track (very good). I also enjoyed "What Does Your Soul Look Like, Pt. 4", "Midnight in a Perfect World" or "What Does Your Soul Look Like, Pt. 1 - Blue Sky Revisit).
It's a solid 3 stars for me.

I remember seeing Yoakam live about 25 years ago. It is good. This album is ok. I don't think it's really special or particularly interesting. Songs I enjoyed: "What I don't know" (music, not lyrics), "Buenas Noches...", "I Sang Dixie", or "Send me the Pillow",... overall, not a great fan (and don't really like the lyrics). It's between 2 and 3 stars for me.

Very good album. I was not expecting to enjoy this one as much as I did. It's a solid 4 star album. Very good songs: "Coat of many colors", "Travelling man" (probably my favourite), "She never met a man (she didn't like)" (great title), "Early Morning Breeze" (loved the bass intro) or "The Way I See You".

I really like this album. Great songs: "Vicious", "Perfect Day", "Walk on The Wild Side", or "Satellite of Love" (really enjoyed the live number by U2). It's clearly at least 4 stars. I thunk the second half is a bit weaker.

I think "Shout" and "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" are great songs. "The Working Hour", "I Believe", "Head Over Heels" or "Listen" are also very good (and that already makes 75% of the album). So yes, this is a solid 4-star album for me.

Great album. Actually, this album used to be one of my favourites while growing up. I've seen them live 3 times and many of these songs were played. As for this album, there are several really great songs: "Enter Sandman", "Sad But True", "Nothing Else Matters", "The Unforgiven", "Wherever I May Roam" (probably my favourite), "Through The Never", "The God that Failed".. It's difficult to keep the excitement of my first (many) listens of this album, but this is still definitely good. At least 4 stars. Could be 5 stars (and it would definitely be if we skip a couple of tracks). Btw, my favourite album, "Kill'em All" is not part of this project, so I may give it a listen ;-)

Very good. The relevance and influence of this album is not easy to grasp while listening in 2026. If put in context, I guess this may deserve up to 5 stars. However, based only on my personal taste, this is more in the range of 3,5 stars (still pretty good). Songs I enjoyed: "Christine's Tune (Devil in Disguise)", "Sin City" (probably my favourite), "Dark End of the Street" (very nice guitars), "My Uncle" (because if the lyrics), "Wheels", or "Hot Burrito #1".

Excellent album. It's not an easy 5-star for me though. It's more like 4,5 stars. Some personal favourites: "After the Gold Rush", "Only Love Can Break Your Heart", "Southern Man" (what a run of three songs!), "Don't let it Bring You Down" and the more upbeat: "When You Dance You Can Really Love"

Good album. I had listened to some stuff by Eels already, but never paid much attention. Songs I enjoyed: "Novocaine For The Soul", "Susan's House", "Not Ready Yet", "Guest List", "Spunky", and "Manchild". This is in the 3,5 range, but leaning towards 4 (also because, after listening to this, I'm interested in listening to other material by Eels).

Good album. I enjoyed this one more than I expected. It is a solid 3 star album for me. No complaints. Nice acoustic guitars and the songs are obviously good.
