Kid ARadiohead

Rated 6/10

I'm a Radiohead fan, but to be honest, this album never really landed for me. Too many long unfocused electronic moments. That said, it is superior to so many other albums on this list.

Rated 8/10

I'm a Bowie fan - this is really solid. Some of the electronic tracks get a bit unfocused for my taste, but really entertaining overall.

I like hearing historically significant albums on this list. Is this an album I’ll come back to? Probably not. Am I glad that I am now aware of it? Absolutely.

I remember this one well from when it was new. There’s a couple good tracks, but the singers voice wears on me for a whole album.

Rated 4/10

I've come back to this one many times over the years. No doubt it is famous and influential. I like this era and genre, but this one just never grabs me. The singles are OK, but the rest is pretty forgettable.

I'd give this a 3.5 if I could. Classic Elvis sound, but there just isn't a noteworthy song on this album. Every track feels like filler or b-sides to his better work.

This was a fun one. I love this kind of sound. Makes me imagine sipping coffee at a cafe in Rio. Extra credit for the wonderfully weird album art and bizarre looking portrait of Veloso.

I'd never heard this whole thing, other than the singles. I was entertained all the way through. It couldn't be more 70s if it tried, but it is fun and creative throughout.
