Yeah, this really wasn't for me. A couple of the songs were fine, but I hated The Talking Drums and both the opening and closing songs. So when you hate 3 of the 5 songs on it, it's tough to rate it high. Only thing I'll give it, at least it wasn't boring.

I really enjoyed this one. Grungy, britpop, good guitars (though they do tend to get a bit long in their solos) but overall, very good. Will listen to this one again.

A couple of the songs were bit of a chore, but overall it was fine. I could see listening to this again at the right time, but not anytime soon.

I liked the second half more than the first half, when he plugged in and started to rock a little more. Crazy that this wasn't looked upon fondly at the time.

I didn't find the recording to be very good, which was distracting. Some good songs but really hard to listen to this. My least favorite Dylan album we listened to, not because of the content, but just because I didn't like the recording at all.

I think, if I was in the right headspace, that I may have enjoyed this album more than I did. But it was a little too weird for me. It was fine, but I don’t see playing it again.

I’ve never been sure if they were a joke or not. But after string of bad albums, I actually enjoyed this one. Probably getting a star more than it deserves but I’m okay with it.

Wow. Over 2 hours long for one good song? Hey Ya is fine and the Andre 3000 half is a bit better than Big Boi but the whole album is not for me at all and this might take the cake for way too long. Neither half is good and they don’t work together.

I think maybe 2 decent songs but overall this is an extremely boring album. The singing is out of key, and the production is just bad.

ArularM.I.A.

Rated 2/10

This was, somehow, worse than the other M.I.A. album we had to listen to. How in the world does this artist get multiple albums on the list?

This album starts of so strong. The title track is such a great song. But you can see why it was the only hit off the album, the rest of the album is just okay.

AriseSepultura

Rated 4/10

I liked this one a little bit more than the last Sepultura album we had. But I didn't like it.

I didn’t like this album this album much the first time I heard it.

I’ve listened to it several times since then and it’s grown on me more and more.

I think it’s a pretty good mix of ambitious and pretentious. But overall, after several listens, I find it to be a very strong album. It’s not perfect, it loses steam some in the second half until the closer, but I’ll be putting this one on again for sure.

Generic beat based dance music. Repetitive to the point of nausea. Not for me. Also I'm knocking it down a star less than it probably deserves because it's too damn long.

At first I was like, this sounds like the non-instrumental parts from Graceland. Wait a second, it IS the non-instrumental parts from Graceland, or at least it's Paul Simon who produced this album with the group that did those parts.

I didn't really like this. Never got to the point I wanted to turn it off, but I really wanted Paul Simon to come in at some point.

DryPJ Harvey

Rated 8/10

I really liked this one. I think I found that the older the PJ Harvey album is, the more I liked it. This is a solid album and I could see it maybe even rating higher on further listens.
